Dvd player works very well picture is very good quality. Adds more color to a regular dvd and quality seems to be more defined

I wanted to stay with the same manufacturer as my TV. There may have been better units for the same price but that was not important. Easy setup and good options for audio.

You spent the money for a 4K TV. Why settle for high compression and low bit-rate streaming? This is how you see it at its best.

The first thing in have to mention about this 4K player is how much faster it is than my last Samsung Blu-ray player. This loads 4K discs in bout ¼ of the time it took my last player to load standard Blu-rays. My TV is a Samsung 4K with HDR so I can take advantage of 4K discs with HDR and I must say I'm impressed. Blacks are super dark and contrast is unbelievable. Movies look like the store displays. My reference movie (so far) is Gods of Egypt. I don't use the apps because the apps on theTV are great.

I liked the color. Th Samsung Ultra HD WiFi built in Blu-ray player has wonderful sound. It works well with dvd's and CD's.

This Blu-ray player is great, it's exactly what I was wanting. It is easy to use and has a lot of uses besides just the disc.

This is a good product, the features work very well. I actually purchased this because it can re-encode DTS to Dolby for my sound system, a feature that a lot of players don't have. My only gripe is that there is a decent amount of manual sound format setup, sometimes per-movie, and if you're watching from an app and need to revisit the setup...the app doesn't seamlessly pick up where you left off. I would give this 4.5 starts if there was a half-star option...but it's closer to a 5 than a 4

This is an absolute MUST HAVE!!! When hooked up with a 4K Samsung tv, it makes even regular DVD's & Blu Ray movies look GREAT

I purchased this device not only to play UHD discs on my 4K tv,, but to also replace a Roku 4 for streaming 4K into same TV. My Vizio like many tvs has only 1 60hz hdmi input for true 4k input. The apps on board the Samsung do not allow for UHD playback on any of Vudu,Amazon or Netflix. This means the only option is to physically disconnect the Samsung and connect my Roku 4 to play back streaming uhd on the 60 hz input. I asked both Samsung and Vudu about this,(Samsung 1st) and was told I would need to contact the app provider.(no help). Vudu told me I'd need a Roku 4 to stream UHD.(no other help) So the bottom line for me is Yes I like the disc playback,it's quick, it's quiet and rarely has any error and the App selection by Samsung regarding streaming 4K is certainly not what I expected at this price range. If the Roku 4 can do it at around $140 , whay cant this device at $400?

This blue ray player is really smart with the high quality pictures presented through the Video movie, facebook, youtube, etc.

Our new Samsung Blue-Ray Player is awesome, easy to use and navigate, much better than the Sony we purchased and returned.

Watching 4K movies on this DVD player and a 4K TV is an amazing experience. This player fit exactly what I was looking for.

This is a huge upgrade from my 6 years old blu-ray player. The 4k and 4k upscaling is amazing. I love everything about it.

This player gives a great picture and loads really fast. I don't have a HDR television so I don't know what the full potential of the player is but it still looks good on my tv

The menu structure is simple to navigate. No disc available yet but I was able to steam some 4k HDR content and it looked awesome.
