The HDR quality from this player seems marginally better than BD to me. Other players will be available later in the fall/winter but right now this is the only option available.

It does play 4K blurays and they do look amazing. But the UI is extremely slow and laggy as well as apps like netflix always crashing. Normally these issues wouldn't bother me that much but considering this is supposed to the THE PREMIERE 4k player on the market... its just unacceptable. I'll be exchanging it for something else very soon.
