I started to purchase 4K Blu Rays since that seems to be where everything is going at the moment so I needed to purchase a new DVD Player and this one came highly rated. So far it has lived up to be reviews and has done an excellent job

Have a 4K HDR TV? Get this. No, Netflix/Amazon/streaming 4K/HDR does NOT look as good as it does with a full on 4K blu ray. The difference is akin to DVD vs. Blu Ray back in the day. It's simply more polished. This 4K blu ray player pretties up just like you pay for it to do. There's much more expensive 4K blu ray players out there, but this one is true 4K (not just upscaling/fake), and is worth it.

This player plays UHD DVD with HDR but you will need a TV that can support it. I bought the Dead Pool 4K DVD and compared it to the Blu-ray version. The 4K version s definitely better but the cost is considerable higher then other upscale 4K player. I only bought this because of my new Samsung TV.

Remote Pairs automatically with my Samsung T.V. Use is seamless and set up is automatic. Great Picture and Sleek unit Sesign.

great blue ray player. And it also connects to wifi so can use it for multiple things and download apps to it since TVs don't have as much storage space. works good. the remote kind of stinks but just takes some getting use to it.

Along with my LG Oled HDR capable tv, it played 4K blurays as if I was watching the movie through a window! Regular blurays upscale do nicely as well.

In spite of the fact that this is the only one of it's kind out there, it does an excellent job.I was reluctant to buy it at first, so I went home and read reviews on line. They were good so I went back to the store and bought it.

I love this player. It plays all my older regular DVDs in great detail. Didn't want to re-buy my movie collection and now I get to enjoy it better than ever. It is so easy to use and looks awesome on my hdtv. It is over priced like all great products and that is my reason for minus a star.

Great quality 4k HDR picture and very easy to use. The remote control could be better but al togheter is definitely woth it.

I was in a position where I needed to buy an entire new home entertainment system. So for my situation, it made sense to buy the most advanced equipment available at a reasonable price. So I purchased a Vizio P65 4k tv, a Denon AVR 3200 and this 4k blu-ray player. If I already had a system, I probably would not purchase this player when I did because there is not that much content available at this time. And with the passage of time, the price of this player is bound to decline. But when hooked up to a 4k tv and playing a true 4k disk, you will see an improved picture. And when you play a non-4k disk, the player and your tv will upscale the picture quality. So I would highly recommend this player, but do realize that you need a 4k tv to see its true capabilities.

Just purchased the Samsung 4K High Def / Blu Ray player, and could not be happier. Beautiful performance, easy to hook up and use with our Sony TV. Have only had it for 4 days, so have not tried the 3D aspect yet, but as soon as I find a movie in 3D that I want, we will give it a shot.

The video quality on this native 4K player is out of this world, but I just couldn't justify the cost and ended up returning it once I heard that the new Xbox One S will be able to natively play 4K blurays. For the same $400 price tag, you might as well be able to play XB1 games too.

Upscaling is good! Quality is great! Startup time is superb! The remote is terrible... that's the drawback for this player. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.

Samsung is the only 4K ULTRA HDR PLAYER available in the U.S. It's high cost is a bit high , but without other players , it's only choise. Quality of sound & picture is excellent , better than HD. I was annoyed with the tiny Remote with tiny buttons and little function ID printed.

This 4K blu-ray player works very well with my LG OLED TV, helping bring stunning 4K content to life. The player has a simple, clean design and is very easy to use.

I bought into the hype of 4k TVs and movies and it is definitely worth it. I have never seen such high quality picture than on my Samsung tv and UHD blu ray player. Sure, it's pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for. I'm still amazed at how great the movies look on it every time I watch another movie. The HDR really brings out the color that I didn't expect to see in older movies.

Good picture, just enhance the color, makes delightful view, I recommend whatch Pacific Rim. The price is very high. hopefully with time the price decrease!!

I've been waiting for the player for some time now. My blue ray videos look better and the one 4K video I have looks great.

Great picture quality and sound, my older generation receiver could not pass through a 4K signal but Samsung put in two HDMI ports one for audio only and one for the 4K video feed, (thanks) I get great sound and picture without having to upgrade my receiver. My only gripe is on the remote, to easy for me to fat finger things when setting up the system, had to use the TV remote to finish.

This is a great Ultra HD player. Handles all UHD movies and even previous types (Blu Ray, 3D, DVD) ones flawlessly. Got it on sale for Black Friday which made it even better. I took away a star because I'm not particularly fond of the remote, it feels cheap and the directional arrows are too close. This unit also doesn't support Dolby Vision via streaming (VUDU uses this) so it's limited in that area until more HDR 10 movies are available to stream. Other than that it's perfect.
