Only complaint I have is the lag-time with the buttons / navigation... Remember BluRay players when they first came out? It's like that. However, you will get over that once you put in a UHD movie - as long as your TV is UHD compatible - you'll fall in love. Heck, run a BluRay & you'll see the difference in upscaling (remember when we jumped from DVD to BluRay? It's like that). Sure these will severely drop in price & will only continue to get better, but if you've bought the ridiculous TV, you need the ridiculous player to match.

This player upscales all content very good! Normal dvds look great, blue-rays are amazing and 4k dvds are stunning. You can even play the apps and they upconvert also! The only con is the play store. It doesn't have HBO go, or a couple other apps, in not sure why it's not the same that they use on their tvs.

The Remote control is a JOKE - I have a universal remote so no problem for me - If you have a 4k TV the picture quality for up conversion to 4k for the BluRay movies look great. Even does a good job of streaming 4k Netflix movies/shows . Only have 1 4k Blu Ray so can ONLY REALLY COMMENT on Deadpool, picture was great and Dolby Atmos sounds terrific . Make sure you update to the newest firmware. Overall for the very 1st UHD 4k Blu Ray player, it does its job, but could be better refined. Don't know how this compares to the new Xbox OneS

Has played all videos very clearly, except one, which was probably the DVD's fault. The app's are also easy to use, and display clearly.

If you want a 4k player with good picture quality, this will work. For me it is a starting level player due to limited settings available for adjustment. it has easy setup and controls but i normally like to tweak my settings. if you dont use YCbCr 4:4:4 as a normal setting, don't worry about it. This is the player for you. The HDR is outstanding Easy connecting to my OLED and setting proper HDR and picture.

Nice to be able to fully utilize all the 4K stuff we have. Everything looks so great on this player. Glad I purchased

I found this Samsung smart blu-ray player very easy to set up - though be advised, you do have to buy an HDMI cable. It's not included. Once I had the cable, it was plug into the monitor, plug the power into the socket and it was ready to use. I've been screening DVD's for the last month and really enjoying the picture quality.

Solid 4K player. Little pricey, but great performance.

I bought to watch a 4k dvd on my mew 4k tv. Obviously, the picture is incredible in 4k. But everything else through the blu ray player looks so good I don't think you can really tell it has been upscaled. Nice to have with a samsung tv, one remote runs it all.

Looks great and the ultraHD blu ray discs look amazing combined with a great 4k TV. Easily configured and connects to your house WiFi for easy access to additional services such as netflix and hulu. Haven't tried watching regular blu ray on it to see if I notice any difference with the upscaling feature, but will try soon.

Handled 4K and BluRay discs well. Easy setup. I've has no issues with the player and have used it about ten times in the last month.

we bought this on the recommendation of the salesman at Best Buy and were quite happy with our purchase. the Blue Ray is easy to use, compatible with our Vizio TV and should last us a long time since it is 4K and won't need to be upgraded anytime soon, which we think, is something important to consider. Highly recommend this.

I returned this. I didn’t like the remote or the fact that the front of the unit was curved. It had decent pq though

It delivers very good picture to your HDR TV and also supports all kinds of HDR content. But you need to pay for the price to be frontiers, check your wallet and think twice.

We did a lot of research before buying this blu-ray. In many of the reviews, it was noted that the remote is small. The remote is small but manageable especially once you view a 4K movie. It is so clear and crisp it feels like 3D and we got it on sale!

as one of the few options on the market as of the end of 2016 as far as actual 4k blu ray players goes, this is probably the best one you could have gone with. With that being said its still pretty early for 4k players, this one's pretty good, slightly slow menu operations, but i only use it for watching 4k blu rays and 1080 blu rays, and not apps. overall Great product for the sale price of $200

I was very impressed with this player from the media content to the UHD up scaling of my blu-rays. Worth the money.

Great picture quality, easy set up, and size is great

This player is great! Currently it's the only 4K player on the market. It automatically detects HDR source discs and changes my Sony tv settings to HDR. It's an easy setup. My 4K player is wired to the internet for easy fast updates. No complaints here!

I watched the regular Blu Ray, then watched the 4K Blu Ray of THE MARTIAN. I could see the difference. The selection of 4K movies is very small at this point (5-6-16). But the titles that are remastered in 4K will undoubtedly grow.The picture quality is GREAT. This player upgrades many of my 1080 Blu Rays to near 4K as well.
