This product in conjunction with a new sound system and a 4K TV is truly an unbelievable experience. I purchased 4K blue ray discs and the result is what you see in the Best Buy demos. The experience is so worth the money.

I've never really thought about a DVR as stylish but this one was designed with a curve front that matches my curved TV. Look amazing while providing a nice quality picture.

best thing I have gotten and movies are better with 4K

I bought one of these when they first came out and I just added a second unit. Processing speed is very fast, better than the Sony 3D Blu ray I previously had. Pictures are amazing. I absolutely love it.

I was so excited on getting this with my new 4K TV. The setup is easy and the User Interface along with the Menu runs very smooth. The total downside is the small remote with no fast forward button. The remote also takes the "Watch Batter" that is an issue. There is a way to Fast Forward on the Remote by holding down the skip button. This is horrible because at times you can just skip to the next chapter by accident or miscalculate and go so fast that you skip way pass the part you wanted to stop at. A good example is trying to see the Ferris Bueller Secret Ending in Deadpool. It took me several tries of fast forwarding and I skipped passed it every time to the end FBI warnings. Finally I realized I spent more time trying to do this than what it took for the credits to roll. So I eventually sat through the credits since the fast forward is clunky. The remote on this unit kills me, the rest is decent. Though, regular Blu-Rays take longer than normal to load and play by about 30-45 seconds.

This Samsung 4K Blue Ray is great. Very good quality.

I have been totally satisfied with this Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD player. Still not a lot of 4k content - but paired with Samsung 4k tv - picture quality is excellent. remote is a joke - but universal remote is the answer

I like the unit itself. The picture is nice and clear. My only complaint is the remote which is dark does not light up at night some of the functions are a little difficult to use compared to a more involved remote.

Very easy to use--plays DVDs/CDs---now I have to remember to buy Blu-Ray in the future! Great features--very happy with my DVD player! Goes great with my 4K SUHD TV!

Bought this to go with my Samsung 65" suhd curve tv. Result for both is finaminal I hope more 4K DVD comes so I can really enjoy both the tv and DVD player. Other than that very happy with purchas. Easy setting up.

I purchased this Blu Ray player because it's a smart device with WiFi capability and supports other internet apps. This allowed me to turn a slightly older flat screen into a smart capable TV. The set up is easy.

The product has a good build and does its job well, but very pricey for early adopters. I have no need for the smart features as I already own a smart TV. The reason for the 3 stars is limited to the price and not needed smart features, because let's face it, if you can use this device the chances are extremely high your TV has smart features already.

If you are on the fence about this player - jump off, run out and buy it. This is a great player, and the format is unbelievable. I just couldn't see paying $399 bucks for the thing, but when it went on sale over Black Friday for $179, I jumped on it. I have to say that the 4K Ultra Blu-ray format is really amazing. You just have to see it to believe it. The player itself is very nice. A VERY nice touch is two HDMI outputs - one specifically for audio if you need it. I did. My receiver has one HDCP 2.2 input which was already used, so I ran this straight to my TV with one HDMI output and the other to my receiver. Problem solved. VERY thoughtful Samsung. Thanks. Great item, great picture. Go buy it - you won't be disappointed. Just do it.

So far it's we have no issues with it, being that it's the first of its kind available to the public that we could get. The clearity of the movies is so clear. It's an amazing view. It just upgrades our home movie theater experience.
