Looks way better than any picture in a theatre when in hooked it up with the 22mps monster cord on my 75" uhd Samsung 3D smart tv. It's tough for me to even bother with the theatre.

It's the only one, and those of us who have adopted 4k have been waiting for this. There are still handshake issues between devices, and some of the first 4k blu-rays that came out have some issues, but when you play a UHD version of Deadpool on your big screen, you will be pretty happy with it

love the 4k player, remote is on the small side but picture quality is great... i don't have a 4k tv yet but this is the best picture the tv has ever had when playing movies

My previous Blu-ray player needed to be replaced. Since I purchased a 4K TV I took advantage of updating to a 4K Blu-ray player. It was easy to install and the picture is perfect.

Works beautifully. Very nice pictures both $k and 3D. Software upgrades are loaded and installed automatically and smoothly. Remote is small but not hard to get familiar with.

I have a Samsung 4k tv so this player was a must have. The picture is so clear and beautiful but even beyond that, THE SOUND. I have a basic Samsung sound bar and the 4k difference was unbelievable. I will warn people that if your tv does not have HDR then using this player with a 4k disc will result in a darker picture (if your tv doesn't have HDR it can't get bright enough). If you don't have a tv with HDR then this player is pointless, just get a regular blu-ray player that upconverts.

The 4k player works really well with blue rays. Makes for a nice picture. Haven't had a chance to play a 4k movie, but I'm sure it will be nothing short of a killer picture.

Great picture quality on standard blu rays. 4K blu Rays look slightly sharper. Can't wait to see what true 4K discs will look like. Likely documentary material as I don't imagine feature movies to be available in true 4K anytime soon.

I've been trying to get this for a few months but it is always sold out. It was totally worth the wait to get the only player that actually plays 4K movies directly as opposed to upscaling.

Works extremely well and was a breeze to install. Nice clear picture quality and low profile design makes this a winner. I bought it on sale for near half the retail price.

Thrilled to finally have a 4K player! I've had a few glitches with some discs but for the most part it has worked well! The upscaling is terrific with both blurays and DVDs!

Looks good with the curved sounder and curved TV. A snap to connect and the remotes to other Samsung products sync as easily.

I bought this UHD 4K player so I could enjoy full resolution on my new Samsung 4K TV. The 4K was great once I upgraded to a 4K HDMI cable. When I was using my original 4K cable- the screen would black out every 30 second or so for a second or two. The remote control is so annoying to use that I went out and bought a Logitech all in one. I shouldn't have to go buy a different remote to use the remote that shipped with the player. For $279, everything should have worked flawlessly out of the box. I'm guessing that they will address this on future players, or I'll be buying a Sony.

I read the reviews on many 4K DVD players before deciding on this model. Every product has their naysayers but overall the reviews shared some common traits which was about the quality of the product. I went to my closest Best-Buy (35 miles away) as the web said they had it in stock....saw the floor model and was sold but unfortunately so was all the stock! I asked an associate to check other nearby stores, found one a few miles away and purchased it. Setup was very easy and really enjoy how it auto-switches depending on the active signal input. Couldn't be much happier (especially since I bought it 50% off!!).
