Samsung has built a great machine here. It upconverts Blu-rays spectacularly. They look great on ky LG 4K Television. I only have 2 4K movies so far, but they look and sound great. The streaming of UHD movies looks amazing as well. If you have a 4K TV, you won't regret buying this player.

With this being my first 4K player, and also my first Samsung player, I have to say that it is very easy to use and very sleek. Only negative is the remote is so small.

If you own a 4K television set then this is must have for you so you can get the full capacity and capabilities of your 4K set. This is the ultimate compliment to your 4K as it allows you to watch every 4K movie you purchase in the best way possible. Even if you don't want to immediately upgrade to buyinh 4K movies this Samsung player gives you 4K upscaling which allows you to view your 1080p Blu Ray movies on your 4K set. This is what you need if you plan on getting the most for your money.

This bad boy will do everything you want play 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays. Plus it's sleek and black and has a nice low profile. Good machine for the money would buy again.

This player has astonishing picture quality in UHD. It has a very user friendly menu and is easy to use linked with your 4K UHD TV. I highly recommend this unit.

Great clarity while viewing all programs and movies.

Bought as open box which didn't have the original remote. It was a great price for the quality but using the universal remote we were given is painful. The picture is terrific and player pairs well with our 4K LG tv

Disappointed to learn (ex post) that despite having a 4k TV, 4k Blu-ray and a 4k movie, the TV won't display 4k due to copyright protection. Not a fault of the player, but be sure to understand the requirements for HDMI (2.0 and higher)

Great looking picture, and excellent sound, even when using regular Blu-ray rather than 4K discs. Only reason I do not go with 5 stars is that the player would not work with the recommended 4K HDMI port on my tv. The Samsung help desk was no help at all, constantly putting me on hold, and wanting me to do the same thing over and over, not understanding why if it did not solve the problem on the first 3 attempts I was not interested in doing a 4th factory reset. After giving up on them I called the Vizio help desk, and got someone who within a few minutes had me up and running, with no more issues since.

Great picture that delivers stunning images when watching movies in 4K. Also upconverts Blu Rays and DVD's to the highest quality. Great toy to go with my new 4K TV!

I bought this unit off the recommendation of the Best Buy associate. Spend more, but get much more. Don't mess with the $50-$70 units. You will probably regret it.

I bought this once I upgraded to the 4k OLED TV. This is a very good 4k blu-ray player which even up-converts the regular 1080P movies! A bargain of a player which does everything.

Have bought 3 different generations of this unit and they are solid and easy to use . The streaming features are very good and easy to use. Note: make sure to have a 4k ready receiver to take advantage of the 4k content.

This is a must have if you have a 4K hdr tv. It brings your blue ray 3D to life! Not to mention the clarity and sound quality you get from 4K hdr movies is the best it can be. Top of the line DVD player without a doubt.

This 4K player was easy to install and works great with my 70" Samsung TV. Outstanding picture quality. Plays 1080p Blu Ray discs also. Great addition to my system.

I really like this Blu-ray player I bought it because I have a 4K TV and a 4K receiver and when you combine this with both of those items the experience of watching movies is beyond anything right now there are a couple other 4K DVD players out there but the Samsung is by far the best one picture is amazing 7.1 surround sound with Dolby Digital Atmos and DTS X all the latest codecs that you can imagine as long as you have a 4K receiver you can get those codecs. DVD player works really great and is compatible with my Samsung 4K TV and my Samsung smartphone great product and got a great price for it

I recently purchased a 4k Ultra Hd TV. I figured I was only going to get the full benefit of this technology if what was fed into it was of similar quality. So I also purchased a Samsung Ubd-k8500 4k Ultra Hd Wi-fi Built-in Blu-ray Player. The Best Buy sale price was very sweet which made the transaction quite painless. The couple 4k films I've watched were as excellent as advertised. There's not a lot of 4k entertainment available yet but it's coming, and when it does I'm ready.

Great picture quality with the 4K player and 3D. If you own a 4K television this player is a must. I enjoy my 4K player with my Samsung 65 Smart LED 4K 3D ultra HD TV

4k hdr movies on my 55 inch curved 4k hdr tv are incredible! a little noisey at first during start up but not noticeable during movies. cheaper than the panasonic.
