JUST Watched NEW 4K release PASSENGERS in 4K and In 3D on this new to me SAMSUNG 4K player. I hooked player up to my 3 year old LG 4K UHD 3D LED tv. It was amazing! I really enjoyed both versions. I'm not sure which one I prefer even though I love 3D. I know these new players can get quite expensive but I found this player to be in my budget. It plays all disc types DVD blue ray and 4K. It upgrades all discs to a more than satisfactory picture. I am happy with my purchase.

Easy set up. Does what it says. Glad to have it. Loving 4K movies on my 4K TV.

This is good entry into 4K UHD. Great picture and sound especially with HDR capable TV. I had only one problem with the unit. It wouldn't read any disk after 1 month of use. I Called Samsung and just did a reset of the unit. 3 months in, no problems.

I am Soo HAPPY that this 4K ULTRA HD Blu-Ray Player is part of my entertainment home theater system....it's GREAT!

When Black Friday arrived and this 4k DVD player was on sale for 199.99 I knew it was my time. I have not been disappointed. Have looked at 1 4K dvd The Martian. Fantastic. Tried out several of the apps and they work very good. I used the wired interent input as I have a slow ATT&T internet and need all the umph I can get. You can't go wrong with this unit Samsung is where its at!

One of the best DVD players I have owned. I matched this up with a 4K tv and speaker surround sound system! Love it

I really love this player goes great with the 4k TV, the movies look awesome.

Though I did not notice the difference between a 4k movie and a standard blue ray, (the same movie), this is an excellent player, I suppose my sony tv has an excellent upscaling and that would be the reason,, the player has lots of apps and functions, I was not able to test HDR because my tv didnt had that system, but resolution is awsome, excellent device for compliment your 4k tv

Very impressed with quality picture of this HD 4K 3D Blu-ray player! We've watched 3D with LG OLED 55" curved TV and it is amazing! It does know where you left off in a movie and usually asks if you want to 'resume' the movie or not--a very nice function when you turned off the Blu-ray and later turn it on again! Size is a tad large. Also was able to plug in a Samsung HD movie storage device via USB to this Blu-ray and it played 4K content without problems.

the picture quality of the 4K was great as expected. simple console and remote. only reason I didn't give it 5 stars... wish remote would have backlit buttons.

All services and products are outstanding! We are enjoying the 4K Ultra TV and are looking forward to additional 4K programming.

It was hard for me to give it a rating because it is hard to tell the real difference from my up scaling blue ray player. I do not know if it because of the players are actually on par, or because my tv is excellent ( it is an LG OLED 3D). Can not really tell. I would not recommend this product only because of the price. Wait until it comes down in price and gets more competition.

Well worth the money in my opinion, it does 4k on everything you want to watch. Online there were a few complaints about the black bars, you get used to it, its not a big deal. So, I would recommend this 4k player.

I love the quality of this DVD player. It is easy to operate and I do recommend it to others. I had inital problems when it somehow selected a default language of "something weird". I had no way to go further with the setup. I had to use my smart phone to try and recognize the language and figure out how to change it. After more than a few hours on tech support, I was able to reset it as factory original and was good to go. Just a fluk I guess. The player is great.

My wife tells me sometimes she cannot tell a major difference between HD and SD. She however can tell a major difference in 4k. The player runs a little slow, (hit a button, takes a second to respond.) But paired with a SUHD 65in tv and a soundbar and we could not ask for anything more. Very very happy with purchase.
