Samsung 4K DVD Player. Quality video and easy to use. I have bought 2 and so happy to see it for $199!

This player seems to do an OK job. This is my first 4K player. It replaces a BluRay player after upgrading my plasma TV with 4K. The only concern I have found so far is with trying to play music from a USB memory stick. For some reason the player creates a duplicate set of files with a "tilda" in front of the file name. When the player comes to this file name it says it can't read this file type and stops playing music. I talked to several people at Best Buy and they did not know why it happens. I did not have this issue with my old Sony BluRay player.

Purchased this 4K player in conjunction with the Samsung 65 4K TV. Great picture. Easy to setup and use.

This was on sale at just under half price. For a full UHD Blu Ray player it has good features, simple connectivity and is easy to use. My only gripe is that the instructions assume a certain level of knowledge for this type of product (a common situation in todays electronics). Too soon to comment on reliability but Samsung products are normally pretty good.

The player is great and the quality of the image is fantastic. The only slight issue I have is how wide the player is. Its larger than my cable box.

This is the only 4K player that is suitable and available at the moment. The other brand is has notable as the Samsung. I would suggest you call whoever the brand make of your TV is for set-up. For instance we have a Vizio and we called their customer service department to make sure the 4K player was set to all the accurate settings for the best 4K picture.

The UBD-K8500 comes as advertised. I saw the steller 5 star rating and read all of the reviews on the image quality. Yes, it's worth it...and a recent price drop to $369 makes this an excellent deal.

Not much is available in 4K yet but more is being released everyday. It is clearer than HD and the sound is amazing.

When I bought my new Sony UHD TV I was skeptical of this disc/media player, but quickly after setting everything up, I was pleased with the quality. At this time, there is no other player like it being offered in-store...there are players that upscale your BluRay/DVD discs to 4k but this feature set is impressive. If you have a new UHDTV, make sure you take advantage of the High Dynamic Range by enabling the extended colour gamut during setup.

This is the only truly 4k player that Samsung makes. I had bought end another Samsung player that the sales person told me was 4k, but it wasn't. It was 4k upscaling, would not play 4 k Blu Ray. The best buy manager was very helpful at returning the item.

4K blu-ray's look outstanding on this player and regular Blu-rays look great as well. Only issue so far is some banding in 4k movies that may or may not be a player issue.

Samsung is a great company always looking to give us the newest technologies. This 4K player up-samples all TV, BlueRay DVDs and the sound through my sround sound system is incredible. Buy this one!

This was on sale for 249.00, best entry price for a 4k player so far. Works great so far, nice picture.

I love this blu-ray player. It's a great deal at 50% off during this holiday season. Can't even get close to this price on another 4k player. All the features seem to work fine. I have it paired up to a Samsung SHUD ... JS9000. The TV has been calibrated and the picture is amazing. Even streaming is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this player.

This DVDs player provides a great picture and works flawlessly! A little pricey, but I highly recommend it!

I love how it upscales from 1080p and the 4k blows me away. Hdr blu rays look awesome. Great product.

Offers extremely high quality 4K HD resolution as well as UHD upscaling. A must for any movie watcher.
