Nice 4k and 1080 upscale

The picture looks great from movies played on it. I would give 5 stars, but the first disk I put in made a terrible noise in the player. This got better after a bit, but the sound coming from the player interfered with enjoying the movie, especially in quieter scenes. This whirling sound is gone now, and all is good.

The remote is disappointing. It is small and no backlight. The staff at Best Buy was very helpful and made sure to ask me if I needed the special 4k HDMI cord. Overall a great transaction and very nice product.

1st 4k BLU-RAY PLAYER!!

Really Good

However, I'm only giving it 4 stars becausre we were watching a movie and then changed a disc and the new disc would not read. We changed disc again and it wouldn't read again. Finally, after a few tries, it started working again. We've only had this blu ray player for about a month and this is the first time that that has happened. I really hope it was a flute and won't happen again.

I have this paired with a new Sony 930D HDR 4K tv, and this is just WOW. I played Mad Max 4K HDR movie and was totally blown away by what I saw on my screen. I am gong to say this, you need a new tv with HDR in order to appreciate this machine. You wont believe your eyes. Its not advertised, but this Blu Ray 4K player also does 3D.
