This was very easy to set up and hook to television. Picture and sound is great. I have two of these and the picture and sound from the one utilized in my movie theater with receiver/amp, 7.1 surround sound and 4K projector is excellent.

This may be the first on the market, but so far it's been working well. I played The Martian 4K UHD disc last night and I have an HDR enabled TV and it was the most stunning picture I have ever seen on a TV. BD player is easy to setup and use. Word of warning though, do not change the resolution from "Auto" in the settings menu. I changed mine to 2160p and it kept giving me HDCP errors. I changed it back and the error went away. For some reason, it didn't like my Yamaha Aventage 750 AVR after I did that, but it worked find straight into my Sony 55X850C TV. Leave that setting alone and everything should be fine. Can't wait to watch more 4k movies on this. They were definitely worth the wait. It's a bit bigger than the latest BD players, but it also has some heft to it, so it feels like a more quality product.

Provides excellent picture quality from all our DVD collection. My only Con is that the PLAY button is to small, but we're still getting use to the controller.

This bluray player is great. No issues at all. I believe it's one of two or three native 4K players currently out right now. This model looks great if you happen to own one of the newer Samsung 4K UHD TVs. Overall, it's a great player and I haven't run into any issues playing any physical media.

well i guess im not really a patient person so without thinking it twice i went and got this 4K blu ray player paying around 400 dlls (thinking it will be worth it) for what it is i would say wait till they totally master this technology...i might not be that technology educated....but well 4k....it is supposed to be brighter, more detail....and stunning....it turned out to be the opposite for me while playing 4K movies. i do own a 4K tv and i did make sure it was a tv with an HDR, well my experience is this: when playing 4K movies the blu ray automatically goes into HDR mode, it looks more defined image but not brighter like the demos they play wight the tv (i know wishful thinking stupid me) it makes the image so dark at points i tried adjusting the settings the color and everything but i really got disappointed i don't know if the tv is to cheap but it had HDR is a sony xbr something, but yeah totally disappointed didn't met my expectation about picture quality for the 4K blu ray. on the other hand the upscale for the blu ray, regular blu ray, is pretty god i would say better than if you buy a blu ray with upscale it does looks brighter for that one. and more defined.....

This player does a good job at showing 4K movies and even upgrading blu Rey's so they can be sharper. Be careful when setting up with tv, if you don't connect to the correct HDMI port it won't give you true 4K.

The Samsung 4k Ultra Hd Wi-fi Blu-ray player fits perfectly with my 4k Denon A/V receiver and the 4k Ultra HD Visio tv. No problems with it in the last 2 months although I was skeptical as I got it on sale for half of the original cost. The color and picture is great without having to calibrate.

Really great 4k picture quality. I have a Samsung model js8500 55" tv which has peak illuminator pro so the hdr isn't as good as the higher end 9500 model. But I'm happy with my purchase of this player. One downside to early adoption to 4k is that Netflix and Vudu only stream in Dolby vision and this player and my tv don't do Dolby vision. But overall great picture quality

We were replacing our TV and sound system. Why not the movie player? We went with this unit because it was only one with true 4K and HDR capabilities. For once, we went with the top-of-line model. Good, crisp pictures from Blue Ray movies. We have not tested some of our non-Blue ray movies.

I love this 4K Player. 4K Movies look amazing on my TV through it, but it also upconverts I think! I watch my favorite baseball team through the MLB.TV app on the player, and it looks way better on my TV through this player than it does on my PC! Samsung gives you access to lots of apps.

Bought this Blu-ray player at the same time we bought the Samsung KS-9000 4K 65" TV and Samsung sound bar. Although we are not big DVD watchers, we really like this system. It's easy to use and gives a great picture. We have yet to try it with a 4K disk, but I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

great buy, great graphics, sleek, and works great! if you have a 4k tv i would recommend if you are buying the 4k blue rays.. will give you the full experience of having 4k to begin with... the only downfall which is why i am giving 4 stars is the remote size.. too small and feels cheap.. i keep losing it between sofa pillows and space between the cushions. :)

Right now, this is the cheapest 4K player you can buy. It performs exactly as it is supposed to. Haven't had any issues with playback or performance. Like other reviews have mentioned, this model loses points for a subpar remote. Also, when you stop a disk, there is no option to resume playback from the last location. You have to start over or select a chapter.
