I was replacing an older samsung blu-ray player. It still is working, but wanted to upgrade after seven years it was time and I am so happy with this purchase. No problems at all to set up and all the apps work great.

Not too many choices in the UHD BD player market at time of purchase but this one made the most sense. Better value than the Panasonic and seemed to be better quality than the slightly cheaper Sharp. Player is a little loud on startup but quiets down once it starts playing the movie. Picture and sound quality seem to be great. Happy with purchase.

looks great in 4k, but not much of a choice as far as 4k movies go.

Very easy set up and a well laid out user interface. Easy to use and teh remote is small and fully functional. The unit also paired perfectly with my Logitech Harmony Remote as well. Blu Ray picture is excellent. I run the audio through a Yamaha receiver and have no issues.

I could have went with an upscaling model for my UHD tv, but why? I typically avoid buying first gen models, but I am not disappointed in this purchase. The native 4k offerings are far better than I could have imagined. I highly recommended this product.

I was told by Best Buy only 4K Blue Ray player on market so I have nothing to compare with, but it does work, but for $ 400.00 it should, I just hate for a company to take advantage of customers when they have NO ALTERNATIVE, unless Bestbuy lied to me & then you should talk to them.

This player not only plays. Native 4K and 3D but it includes apps that will pass HDR to your 4K HDR tv

this player is great, starts up fast, tons of apps. works perfectly.. The only negative is the remote control.. The remote is way toooooooooo small and virtually gets lost in your hand, its basically child sized.. this results in a lot of buttons getting pushed by accident

you can definitely tell the difference between blu ray and 4K

Waited a week and caught it on sale and it has been worth it since purchased. The player has many apps I use and allows for me stream videos I want to watch without a bunch of set up delays. I am very happy with the purchase and the price I paid was perfect for my budget.

So far so good, works easily and no issues playing any movies like I experienced with other players!

I purchased this 4K Blu ray player to go along with a Samsung SUHD 60 inch television. I have never had a blu ray player prior to this, so it's hard to compare, but the picture is phenomenal on regular Blu-rays and the one 4K movie I've watched on it. Highly recommend it.

For someone who want the top notch quality in their tv from their moves. This by far is the BEST!!!

I picked up this unit on Black Friday when it was on sale. For the money, you cannot beat this unit. The picture quality is excellent. I also have the higher-end Pioneer unit and cannot complain about either one.

Why have a 4k tv and not have a 4k dvd player. Does what it is supposed to do. Very happy with it.

I wanted a 4k blu ray player and this is one of the only models out there, but it is a Samsung and that usually means that it is a good choice. I wasn't disappointed. The picture quality is awesome and despite some reviews about not workkng with a Sony tv, they are wrong.
