Decided to delve into Ultra 4K media and needed a player. There were 2 options - one, very expensive and Samsung - I opted for the latter and have been thrilled. Best feature by far is the dial HDMI output which allows me run audio to my receiver and video directly to my TV. Needed to do this because my receiver isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant - it worked like a charm. I highly recommend this player!

Bought this the same time I purchased the Samsung 4K TV about a month ago. 4K movies are the bomb and this player does a great job of up scaling standard DVDs and BR discs. I've had no problems with this system so far so I rated it as excellent.

It's awesome to view 3D movies on my LG TV by using theSamsung - UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player! It's the first blue-ray player I have owned so I am excited to be able to watch the better quality of blue-ray movies now.

Bought this (open box) with my Samsung TV. The two work seemlessly together off of the same easy, intuitive remote and interface. Easy to set up and a breeze to use. No complaints whatsoever!

I love love love Samsung when it comes to home theatre products I have always purchased and enjoy Samsung. This DVD player has a great price point and amazing picture quality. Can't beat it.

I love this Player. It is very easy to set up and use. I love how quickly it loads, turns on and off and how easy it is to use your apps. It is a very good player, I got on sale and if you can get it for a good price, I would totally get this.

Has more features than I will ever use personally, but one of the only available in native 4K vs simply upscaling to 4K.

Purchased this 4k player for my dad.. was really easy to install.. if you do not have a surround receiver with 4k pass threw the player has 2 HDMI out.. one just for audio to receiver and one with 4k to tv.. so extra hdmi cable needed..

Fiance had purchased Creed blu ray 4k but i only had 4k upscaling blu ray. finally got a low price at best buy for 249.00 plus 10% birthday reduction an d bought the unit. Very satisfied

Got this in a deal with my samsung TV and love it. Works perfectly - image is amazing! Pricey but worth it if you're really into getting the best image quality possible out of your 4K TV

With 4K coming to the forefront, I went ahead and upgraded to the 4K player. It was a wise choice. You can run the apps from here and the picture is great on regular as well as 4K discs.

After much research I decided to go with the true 4K more expensive option and it was totally worth it. I'm not very tech savvy but even I can tell the difference in quality. I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this Samsung item.

Best money i have spent. Movies look awesome. Look forward to watching movies.

I got the Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Blu-Ray player the same time I purchased a new Sony 4K UHD TV. The two compliment each other very well. I've watched both 4K UHD content and Blu-Ray 3D movies with great success. Very pleased with the purchases.
