This is a really good DVD player - would highly recommend it.

4K is great. love it. the will play everything you can get. and high 4k 60fps. no issues. play with no prob . love it. it is price high but all newer tech is.

I paid a lot for this when it first came out...now that the prices have come down, well worth the investment (if you have a UHD TV). I bought a 2nd one after upgrading another TV so I didn't have to keep moving the player to the other room when we wanted to use it.

I got this $200 off, and think it was a great buy at that. I don't think it's worth a lot more than that, though. It's good, but I feel it should have had more SMART HUB functionality. Still, it's a good player.

A true 4K UHD player. The set-up was very easy. I matched it to a 65 inch LG OLED TV. Streams Netflix,Amazon content very smoothly. Plays 4K,3D and other content very well. A great edition to my home theater.

We really like our ultra 4K upscale unit. Picture is very clear and crisp. Picture is simply amazing, so is the sound. Definitely can recommend this Samsung - Ubd-k8500 4k Ultra Hd Wi-fi Built-in Blu-ray Player.

The install instructions are horrendous. If you have a television and no cable or sound system, it's easy as can be to set up. If you have any accessories post-1980, you must have the patience of Job to figure out how to integrate the television with the box. It also helps, after three nights of clearly objectionable language at the box, to call the manufacturer, wait almost forty minutes on hold, then spend an hour on the phone. You'd think a Samsung TV and a Samsung DVR would be easily connected and immediately functional. Not so much. When I called Best Buy for suggestions, before the 100 minute call to Samsung, they offered help for $250, $50 more than the price of the player. Great product once working.

This 4k ultra player really makes a difference in the moving watching experience on my 4k TV. I thought blu ray was nice, this has such vivid images I love it!!

Works well, does excellent job of upconverting standard BluRay, DVD and streaming sources (Netflix, vudu, Amazon and hulu video). Excellent value at 50% off

The unit has no information panel, just a stand-by and power on light. The unit's controls are minimal, not well placed and hard to see. The remote is best for "mini-me," very small with limited functions. The unit does not totally play well with all 4K discs and sometimes needs to load multiple times before playing. Recommend separate cables for output to the TV and to receivers/amplifiers, and make sure the cables are 4K verified. Settings do not allow for assignable options such as 4:2:2 10 bit, nor does it tell you what is being sent to the TV. Picture quality, however is very good, with a slight red push. Detail is also very good too. The unit is recommended as an entry level unit and if you have the patience for its quirks.

Just watched the 1st movie after purchasing the 4K player. It was epic! Great picture & sound sooo clear. Dont be confused by a"4K upscaling player" those are not a true 4K player. Look for ultra HD on the front.

Though a bit pricey, the 4K UHD product is amazing. The additional onboard apps are quite useful.

This 4K Blu-Ray player is definitely the nicest player I have ever owned. It operates flawlessly. It augments my 4K SUHD TV.

Bought this DVD player to go with new Samsung TV. Didn't need all of the features, but nice to have if needed. Was easy to hook up (since I am technically challenged). Plays our old DVD's and they look great.

If you want a real 4K DVD player, this is it. Blu-ray and regular DVDs play and look much better than I thought they would.
