I could not believe the improvement on picture quality. Worth the money especially if you watch special effects movies..

As with my other Samsung products I thinks it works well and the picture is great as well but I just couldn't see a lot of change from my other Samsung blue ray player. I wouldn't say I'm unhappy I just expected more.

After owning a 4k upscale unit (what a waste of money). Buying a true uhd 4k with all the extra perks makes this unit better than anything that I reviewed and or seen.

Recently bought to go with 4 K television and it even enhances a normal blu ray. A definite buy to go with 4k television

I have only had the product for 2 ( two ) months ( Jan 2017 ). Easy to set-up, reads the existing DVD's that I have, and will go into the Future Blue-Rays as well.

Fantastic Quality of picture from my New Samsung DVD Player...Top of the line and it shows...Happy with the end result!!

The quality of the picture, when played through the Samsung 4K HDR TV, is amazing. The controls are easy to use. Even non-4K DVDs play at an outstanding resolution.

At the time of purchase Samsung was the only player available so it was nothing to compare it with now the Xbox S plays 4K movies and you can pick one up cheaper than the Samsung I would look into that before purchasing.

We wanted to update our DVD to 4K Ultra just in case we decide to purchase a new TV. This one was on sale and we love Samsung products. Wouldn't have anything else.

Only thing I can say is a downside is the price, that being said, it blows away any Blue-ray player I have ever seen!!!!

This is by far the best video player I have used i have it paired with a Samsung suhd 4k tv unbelievable clarity getting ready to get a onkyo 5.2.1 to go with them.

Interface is nice and it provides a very nice picture. Not the high end, but I don't think paying almost $700 for a high end model makes sense when this Samsung model does a great job. I don't see any negatives yet.

This player provides a great picture to my new LG TV. It is a great product, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Excellent upscaling. I have a 4k bd upscaler and i have to say. This player made the 4k upscaler look like junk (ps4 pro). Excellent for hdr and upscaling blurays

Very good picture, starts fast and works well. Wi-fi set up works great. Directions are somewhat lacking. Price is good

I bought this player on Black Friday and it works great. Not a lot of hassle for set up and the picture looks great, overall I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.

I have a Samsung 4K suhd TV this player works great with that setup. There is definitely an upgrade on standard DVDs when you play them would recommend the player.

Samsung products have always been very dependable and of excellent quality. This Ultra HD Blu-Ray was priced competitively while providing the features I needed.

Love my new Samsung UBD K8500 4K Ultra HD WI-FI Built in Blu-ray Player. Excellent Upscaling on my standard Blu-ray discs. Would definitely recommend this player.
