I actually bought these more to raise the washer and dryer than for storage and they did just that. they appear to be well constructed and the wash and dryer are bolted to them so they should never slip or fall off. One thing i did not plan on is once you raise your machines with pedestals you no longer can use the tops of them as a folding area. Other that that i love them. getting loads into and out of the machines is so much easier.

Purchased the pedestals to protect my back from bending down. Saves me and my back. Has also storage which is a bonus to store my brushes on one side and extra dryer sheets on the other.

We have installed 2 laundry pedestals for Washer and Dryer. If you have enough space above the place you want to install those devices, I would strongly recommend to put Washer and Dryer on pedestals.

We waited to buy the two pedestals and are very happy with our purchase. They bring the machines up higher for easier loading and unloading, and they provide great drawers space for other items...

These are a must! Very convenient and if you don't have them, the washer and dryer will sit way to low!

The drawer should have been deep enough for a large soap bottle, but the drawer is actually 10.9" deep, and the bottle is a bit bigger. That was the one major disappointment when we first got these drawers. The height is great, no more bending to load and unload clothes. The drawer opens smoothly. Your best bet is to order them at the time that you buy the washer and dryer so that the installer will install the drawers for you. Not holding the big soap bottle is a major mistake when these were designed. Again, hard to install yourself, it takes two strong people, and a plan.

I am a tall woman and the pedestals are so nice to raise these appliances to a better height for me.

We purchased pedestals for both our new washer and dryer and love them both. Only request would be inclusion if a rubber liner to assist with cleanup in case of spills.

I am so glad I bought this pedestal. Glad for the storage, although more importantly for me, I do not have to bend down as far as I would have without it.

I tried going w/o pedestals (2nd set of front loaders) but too much strain on the back. They are great for getting front loaders off the floor. I believe all pedestals are equal but I can not understand how such a simple design with relatively inexpensive material should cost more than $50/unit. These are just necessary evils. (which is why I would recommend) Good storage if you use smaller soap/bleach containers. I

I debated deeply before making this purchase. I figured, it's a drawer and I don't really need it. That being said, it definitely added a nice appearance boost to the entire presentation of my washer/dryer.

I purchased the pedestals because I didn't like how low to the ground the washer and dryer sits. I have a large laundry room with a closet and lots of shelving so I didn't need it nor do I use it for the storage but I suppose that would be nice for someone with a tighter space in the laundry room. I like that the color matches the machines exactly as well. I do think $250/each is a bit pricey for what they are but I guess they all get you that way because no one wants their machines sitting low to the ground.

Unless you want to be at ground level taking out the clothes to put in the dryer, this is a must. Offers storage. BUT way way to expensive for what it is. This seems to be a GOTCHA if you want a front loader, Also if you have an older model Samsung, you still need to buy this one. My old pedestal would not fit & had to wait for a 2nd trip to have it installed. Plus the way the 2 pieces hook together has changed. Worse, if your old one does fit, just return it.

Laundry pedestal is a must have for front loading machines. It raises them to a more comfortable height and eliminates the need to bend over. However, it is greatly over priced and should be included in the cost of the washer/ dryer. Also, the drawers are to shallow to fit bottles of detergent or fabric softner. Instead I store toilet paper, paper towels, and other smaller household items.

The pedestals are great for raising up your washer & dryer but I'm not one for using them for storage, I keep my warranty books but not much else in them.

We recently purchased our first front-load washer/dryer set. If you have the space, even at the $100+ cost, I highly recommend these. They provide extra storage space in an otherwise storage-deficient room. But, more importantly, your back will thank you every day that you do laundry! And, in the long-run, the $$ that you save NOT seeing a chiropractor will more than pay for these!!!

This item is a must for a front load unit, especially when you are tall. I am 6'4" and I do not have to bend down as far now. I also utilize it for storage.

I purchased a pedestal stand for my Samsung washer and dryer. Couldn't imagine not having them. The higher clearance really helps with stress on the back.

Nice metal pedestal. Drawer is heavy duty plastic drawer that will not rust. Raises appliance up to perfect height.
