This product works great. It charges the phone just as described effectively. The phone does not get hot but it will be a tad slower than just plugging it into a S6 fast charger. It can also charge ither products as well that uses Qi wireless charging technology. One thing that I found was an annoyance is that once the phone is full it stops charging to let the power dissappear but it would not recharge after dissipating some energy. I wish they had added that feature where it would stop charging dissipate 10 percent and recharge, but instead you just have to lift it off and set it back down to recharge. Just a minor inconvenience when charging at night to extend or prolong batery life.

Awesome device - but not needed in life

I like this pad because I can always lay the phone on it and it will start charging immediately. I have set on my night stand and whenever I am doing something around my bedroom, i will lay it on the charging pad. Then when I am ready to head out, "BOOM" there it is, just take it and leave.
I don't see why one can't just plug the phone directly to the charging cable, it only take a 1 second more. This is why I say it's not needed in life. I don't know if too many people will justify the price for this 1st world convenience. It's a cool gadget to have and if you have money laying around, I see why this wouldn't make you happy.

I have an S6 with an Armour case, I find that you have to play with the positioning of the device for it to connect. Once the device connects I have had it disconnect on its own when the phone charged above 80%. I have to reposition the phone for it to charge to100%. I have also noticed that the phone gets warm which might impact the life of the device. Not sure if similar devices behave better, but if you are looking to eliminate the hassle of playing with the cord I would recommend this device.

I needed something that was more convenient than the normal cord and plug in, as where my phone sits at night can be awkward with cords and I'd go through so many due to them bending the wrong way. This is convenient, but there are times when it doesn't complete the charge at night and my phone is maybe at 50% when I wake up (was low when I went to bed). Maybe I just haven't mastered how it sits on the charger, but makes me nervous. Still, easier than plugging in all the time.

Great for overnight charging of my S6 since it is slow to charger. Easy to just place my phone on it; although the phone needs to be on perfectly to charger properly

Reliable, some downsides

Seems to be a bit picky about how I place my phone (Droid Turbo 2) on it, but that could be the phone.
One downside to the Qi charging technology is that when it finishes charging, it stops and doesn't maintain the phone at full charge. I will usually place my phone on at night before bed and when I wake up it's between 92% and 96%. This could be fixed with software updates, but for a phone that doesn't have the HUGE battery life that mine does, I could see people not being happy that there phone is under 90% in the mornings.
Still nice to grab without unplugging!

Works fine. I have both a Note5 and my wife has a Galaxy S5 and both charge up (had to buy the piece that goes into the battery cover on the S5 to make it compatible) You do have to get it centered on the charging pad which some people have complained about but the pad does have a rubber ring around it that helps grip the phone and keep it from sliding. I have a body glove case on the Note5 and Lifeproof case on the S5 and they both still charge with the cases on. I'm all about shopping around and BestBuy price matches so I got it for $35.

This is a great product if you know what you are getting before you purchase. It is so much better and easier to use this rather than fumble with the micro USB in a dark room when your spouse is sleeping. You don't have to worry about if it is upside down before you shove it in the slot.
The only thing to know before purchase is that it isn't a rapid fast charger, and you must realize how to place it on the platform to accept the charge; You have to almost center it. Just check that it registers before you walk away and you're good.

I got this as part of Best Buy's promotion...I think even if they didn't offer it, I would have bought it anyway.
This wireless charger is so convenient to use.
I mainly use this charger at night when I go to bed. It charges the phone fine throughout the night.
The only problems I have with this charger is that you have to place the phone on the charger puck just right, or the blue light on the charger will start flashing indicating it's not positioned correctly. All I have to do at that time is just pick it up and reposition it. When the charger's blue light is steady, then it's charging. Once the phone is fully charged, the charger stops charging the phone.
I don't have any issues with the charger not charging the phone, and the fact it doesn't charge fast is no concern to me, as I only use this at night. If I need a fast charge, I'll use the cable type charger that came with the phone.
Overall, this wireless charger is really great. I love it.

Does not charge as quickly as plugging your phone in but is really nice for convenience. My last phones charging port broke so i am happy to have the wireless option. Works with Otterbox case on phone.

Its a wireless charger that works on samsung devices from s5 up and note5 up below that requires a battery pack purchase. Only complaint is the phone has to be placed on it just right to charge and if it moves off the cradle it won't charge anymore.

This is a fantastic, fresh and cool idea. I really love the ease of use and the face that the charging module unplugs from a regular charger (so if you want to use your phone and charge, this is still possible. Samsung did a great job with this design, but...I've been having some issues with the charge stopping and the phone sitting there. It's actually not just me, this is happening to a lot of people. If that piece can be fixed this is a 5 star product. I still love it regardless.

The fact that I can charge my phone without plugging it in is still mind-boggling. It works great, it just takes a little adjustment to get my phone in the perfect spot to charge, that could be because I have a slightly thick case on my phone though. For those of you who are worried that it won't charge through a case, you don't have to worry; it will.
It's also slower charging on the pad than via a cable, so keep that in mind. Nevertheless its totally cool.

Never had wireless charging before so wanted to try it with the new Samsung S6. It's just really convenient and simple to use. My wife wasn't interested so didn't buy one for herself but now she is hogging mine!
Only drawback is that you have to be careful to get the phone placed on the charger right on the sweet spot. Little off to either side and it won't charge.

It does what it's supposed to do sometimes. I've placed my phone on the charger at night and by morning, I'm still not at 100%. And sometimes it will just stop charging and I'd have to move the phone around to get it to start back. If you want something quick and easy, then I'd buy it. It's good to have if you don't want to keep plugging your phone up. If you want to ensure your phone will actually charge, then I'd keep the original charger.

This is a great accessories to have if your just needing to keep your phone/device "topped" off... does not do well for extended periods (phone will stop charging, has to be lifted off and put back on) such as if the phone is 50% or below. Does about 20% consistently on a single charge. Minimalist design allows it to blend in with any arrangement of decor without being an eyesore or just standing out too much. Overall I love it.

I like the size of the charger. It easily sits on a table. It also charges the phone really fast. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is that it van be difficult to get it to start charging the phone. If you don't have it sitting a certain way it won't start charging, which can be frustrating. Overall though I would recommend this for anyone that has a galaxy s6 phone or a phone with the wireless charging capabilities.

This thing doesn't charge your phone very fast. Maybe 50% in two hours. I'd rather not sit around for hours waiting for my phone to charge. The only reason this gets 4 stars is for convenience. It's nice to just throw it on the charger and not worry about it, that's a nice feature. Also works with certain cases, which is a huge plus.
P.S. I've tried charging it with and without cases, results are exactly the same.

This is defiantly a convenience item. It is neat that I can place my phone down and not have to worry about plugging it in, which is really good while in the dark or at night. However it is slow to charge and my phone doesn't seem to retain the charge as well as it use to. Also it maxes my phones charge out at 94% instead of 100% which is really weird. It is really an unnecessary item that just looks fancy.
