Purchased these for a bundle price along with the Samsung 3.1 sound bar HW-R650. Placed the speakers on some satellite speaker stands (the speaker wire is way too short for me to mount them on my wall), connected them to the receiver, figured out how to pair the receiver to the sound bar and BOOM! It’s so nice to have surround speakers with the sound bar. No virtual surround sound. Only thing that I didn’t like is how loud they were but once I finally figured out how to turn them down on the sound bar it was good. Overall if you’ve got the extra money and miss having true surround sound then these are worth the buy!

Works perfectly with the sound bar and is a great addition to it. Wireless speaker are the only way to go these days. Setup is also super simple

I paired this with a new Samsung Sound Bar/Subwoofer and it's great. These 2 products together create a nice surround sound experience for an affordable price. Would certainly recommend to others. For the money, Samsung creates a nice alternative to the high end Bose or Sonos products.

These rear optional speakers are a must when pairing to a sound bar. They really add effects which would not be heard on the sound bar itself. Easy setup and pairing. I wish they has a threaded mounting option in the back or bottom instead of a keyhole which makes mounting options slim

Bought the HW R650 sound bar and found the music was too loud on certain tv shows. Decided to try the rear speaker kit and after trying different settings the dialog jumped out at me. It was something I had been trying to get by trying out several different soundbars. I had to set my tv sound to pcm rather than dts otherwise the rear speakers were too loud. Also turned off DRC. These speakers are not BOSE quality ,but well worth the price. Also there are conflicting specs weather or not they work with the R650. Well they do. No problem with set up.

These speakers are good but not great. They are a little pricey, I would only buy them if they are discounted. They were very easy to set up with my Samsung sound bar. Not quite plug and play, but just about. No intermittent connection issues have been experienced.
The sound they put out is good enough to make you feel immersed in the scene but it doesn't quite pinpoint sounds coming from left and right. If you have these positioned in a good spot, they get the job done. Good speakers all-around,

One Issue

Bought this to pair it with my Samsung Soundbar. Easy set up and yes there are cords that run from the speaker to it's own box. The box does not need a cord to the soundbar. One issue that I faced that you may run into is if you put the wire in the in speaker to far the plastic will touch the metal tip, which will result in no sound. Make sure the exposed wire touches the metal clip of the speaker. Samsung tends to put excess plastic around the wire which caused my speaker not to work. Just a FYI in case no sound comes out and the box is linked to the Soundbar.

Got these to go along with my Samsung 2.1 sound bar which I love. I really like these speakers as well. I have them set up at each end of my couch and it provides a decent surround sound experience. My only gripe is that they aren’t very loud. I have them turned all the way up as the front speakers and subwoofer get really loud. Thankfully these speakers are pretty cheap compared to true surround sound. So if you’re looking to mimic a surround sound experience these are good for someone on a budget.

Great Compliment to Soundbar...But Quiet

Overall, I am happy with the purchase, as I think they are a good compliment to the soundbar. Setup was very easy, and I had no problems getting it to connect to the soundbar via bluetooth. My only complaint is that the speakers are very quiet. You can increase the volume of the rear speakers with the soundbar remote, but I still find myself picking up the speakers to make sure sound is coming out. When I toggle the rear speakers off and on, I can tell a significant difference; it is just hard to isolate the sound coming from the rear speakers when all the speakers are playing.

For an inexpensive rear surround sound system they work pretty good. They perform differently depending on what your watching, i.e. Much better sound quality watching Netflix, HBO Max, Showtime, local programing/stations not so much. it's kind of odd. They are totally worth the money. NOTE: if you're using them with a Samsung soundbar you CAN adjust the volume level on the rear speakers, I found this out by accident LOL!

Added these to my front speaker system- Had a little trouble initially getting the wireless to 'pair up' with the fronts, but after researching the problem online I was able to resolve the issue and get them to work. it's not quite as 'push button' as the instructions would lead you to believe. The only controls available are on/off from the front unit... I wish there was a way to boost the volume to my liking. They definitely enhance the overall experience though, and are worth the additional dollars if you want a more 'theater' like experience.

Easy to setup. Yes you do need to have a power cord but how else can you unless you use rechargeable - which you would need to hook up to charge anyway! Setup is easy. Sound is crisp. No need to run cables across the floor, walls or under. Definitely worth the investment!

Expected something a little bigger with more sound but speakers work OK & were easy to set up. The receiver is wireless but the speakers are not, they have to be plugged into the receiver. I wouldn’t consider them to “add more powerful surround sound” as advertised. But they do help to hear dialogue in movies a lot clearer from the back if you’re used to having the bass from the subwoofer at it’s max. Makes for a good combo.

As I said, I never got to use these speakers because I discovered too late that they work only with specific sound bars. So, I kept them for myself and bought the compatible sound bar only to discover that the sound bar isn't compatible with my Sanyo 32 inch TV that's 10 to 15 years old. So.... to make a long story short, I gave it 4 stars because it was never used but am sure it is an excellent product and would be of great use with the correct TV and sound bar.

Must have for Samsung soundbar

Works great with my Samsung m-550 soundbar. I've never had a surround system before and I'm pleased with the effect this pair creates. I do suggest going into the soundbar settings and raising the sound level of the rear channels as they aren't too loud out of the box. I'd say if you have the m-550 soundbar these are a must have. If I had one gripe it's that the speakers have a regular speaker wire with a proprietary end that plugs into the wireless receiver. Should anything happen to these wires who knows how you'd get another one.
