Superbly written & the artwork is absolutely Gorgeous! All the episodes on one Blu-ray disc and four DVD's makes this purchase worth the price. I would recommend it to any fan of classical animé. the whole series will not let you down.

I'd say I got my moneys worth of anime out of this box set. you get 24 ep. on 7dvd's also the same 24 ep. on 3 blurays for more bells and whistles. I often will buy a dual disc box set and sometimes play the dvds thinking they're the blu. I usually don't notice until it's over. So do I prefer bd to dvd, yes but not enough more to pay much more. Those up scaling players really closed the gap so either one is fine and both is always better. It's a tried and true classic series and If I'm not mistaken the run time is 625 min. That'll make for a good night of binge watching. Just have too change discs every hour or 2. I'll take the discs over a stream any day. Usually better and less hassle and you can adjust more settings uninterupted, It's just better if your into the audio aas much as video. What else can I say it's an anime classic for a reason, 1080p with either set and dolby truehd 5.1 with bd if I have my settings right on player and receiver. I rarely regret buying a good anime disc(s).

I picked this up after seeing clips from an Anime site & set aside a whole day where I could just sit & check out what Samurai 7 had to offer & was kind of surprised by how hooked I was into the story and how intense everything becomes as it progresses. The characters are interesting for sure, but by it being a 26 episode series, there's not too much room to give them as much depth I think a lot of Anime fans come to appreciate from other series, which is definitely something I would have liked to see had the series been extended. The only complaints I really have is that one of the consistent characters felt completely unnecessary, & there was a bit too much filler as you go between episodes. But other than that, definitely recommend picking up!

The Samurai 7 complete series blu-ray is a beautiful bundle and a great deal. My only complaint is with the show itself. I feel like some of my expectations fell short, especially involving the "nobuseri". But that's a minor issue. Overall this is a very pleasing and worthwhile purchase.

I saw this anime for the first time 4 years ago on Adult Swim on Toonami, and instantly liked it. When I found out that this came out as a BluRay/DVD Combo pack, I couldn't refuse. People who like sword fights with a good story will like this.

The Samurai 7 series is a unique genre that involves technology and samurai mentality throughout, driven by character development and integration of these into a team.

I've been looking for this series on blu ray for awhile. The lines are finer and noticeably more detailed than the DVD version.

This is a complete set of Samurai 7. The transfer to blu-ray looks great and the visuals pop like never before.

Great anime for any Sumarai fans. No complaints other than how it was packaged as case was slightly damaged

Wasn't sure if I'd like the older anime, but it was actually better than I thought.
