I was expecting more for a sequel after such along time waiting. Although it has a lot of action, this DVD was a disappointment. It seems like it was put together in a hurry with poor acting and uses numerous scenes from the original movie.

Fun movie and don't expect anything more. Loved the campiness and still need to see the first movie since I hear it's much better. Odd cg and the story I couldn't follow for the life of me. Fun party movie tho

I missed the original, and while this makes me want to see it, I am not expecting much. This is more cop drama than martial arts action, and while OK, it is hardly much above average.

Samurai Cop 2 by Gregery Hatanaka was a fantastic sequel, a funny, exciting, action packed traditional Japanese Warrior type of film with excellent stars such as Matt Hannen, Mark Frazer, Bei Ling and Mel Novak. This film is a chance to revisit the 80's, 90's and modern day type of action film with a comedy twist! Go see it, you will walk out of the house full of laughter and you will be feeling like a true samurai warrior!

the action is pretty good and the girls are amazing but there a few unnecessary scenes dat make no sense

The first 'Samurai Cop' is a terribly made so-bad-it's-brilliant flick. It makes 'The Room' look like 'Citizen Kane', but it has become a cult movie. This sequel is too self aware and is sort of purposely bad, but it comes across as lazy. At least with the first one, you had a bunch of amateurs who thought they were making a good movie and has earned its cult status.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Movie was poorly made.

His name is Joe Marshall. He speaks fluent Japanese. He got his martial arts training from the masters in Japan. He came from San Diego to fight them, them honest business man. They are a legitimate business, just some honest men and women havin' to stop a crazed hippie with a katana sword, which by the way katana means 'Japanese sword.'

The Long, LONG awaited sequel to one of the WORST movies ever barfed out of Hollywood's butt. If you love to laugh at producers and directors failed creations then this is the movie for you. JOE Marshall, they call him Samurai Cop, he speaks FLUENT Japanese! He came back from "the dead" to FIGHT with a VENGEANCE!

This movie (term used generously) is catastrophically bad, with no redeeming quality — except for one: it's thoroughly fun!! Clearly, unintentionally fun, but fun nonetheless. Plus, it's produced and (sporadically) starred by Tommy Wiseau, the mastermind of the masterpiece "The Room." Fantastic!!

You can tell the makers of this film are big fans of the original

Definitely not worth buying I would say rental at best they spent most of the money for the nude scenes in this movie and the rest of it is plain stupid lol

If you seen the first one, then you might like this movie. To me there is no plot to the movie.

Modern movie made in the 80's style. Didn't work = bad acting, bad plot, etc.

The very late sequel to one of the best worst movies around. Samurai Cop 2 is no where near as entertaining as the original. Pretty much lightning did not strike twice. This movie is just confusing and pretty boring. Just watch the original again. Though they do get props for getting a lot of the original actors back.
