Although I am a longtime Dynasty Warriors/Musou game fan, this is my first entry into the Samurai Warriors franchise. It feels a little slower and more grounded than most of the recent Dynasty warriors games, but it's a ton of fun. Every character can use any weapon, so if you find a character you like the look of, you're not restricted to using an unfun weapon, unlike DW. The artstyle is very pretty, even with the Switch's hardware limitations, and the music ranges from inoffensive background noise to... mildly catchy. Great game for Musou fans, and probably a good entry point for those who are new to Musou games as well.

I was excited for this game. I’ve been a Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors fan for a long time. The game is fun and the story is immersive. The only thing that hinders it a little is that newer characters come into play as the story progresses so you can’t always play as your favorite character. There is an option to play a sort of free mode though where you can replay a level as whoever you want. For the most part you are able to choose between 2 interchangeable characters. While they tried to make the weapons and styles diverse there are some characters that feel like copies of each other, but such is the case with the musuo franchise in general. Either way the game is fun. After you beat the game an additional version opens up but you seem to have to meet certain criteria for each level to open up the path.

Another great addition to the Samurai Warriors series on the switch. The game has beautiful graphics, gameplay and music. Its interesting that this version includes only Japanese voice acting and does not include English voice acting even though the English voice acting was never really great to begin with.

If you are into the Dynasty Warriors genre this game deluvers the same silid, responsive gameplay with A LOT of on screen devastation and NPCs with zero slowdown. Graphics are like celshaded art pencil and very sharp and vivid. Full voices in cutscenes with static images. I prefer to play with japanese language with subtitles. Download the day one patch first. It cleans up the image and audio among other fixes. Many characters to unlock and upgrade. Love it. Bought it for xbox series x too.

Great game. This game has surprisingly great graphics, combat and music.

Game arrived sealed, in new condition. Played through 5/6 of the first chapter and the game plays relatively well on the Switch.

Not really into muso games but the ability to upgrade weapons and add elements to said weapons got me enjoying the game.

Bought it for my kids and they love it. I also enjoy playing this game a lot.

It's a Warriors game. You're either a fan or you aren't. If you like hitting a ton of enemies at once and watching them fly away like paper in the wind, this game is for you.
