Tried backing up photos and videos at least a dozen times and after it reaches 30%, I get an error saying it cannot complete and the path is no longer available. Sadly this has been a waste of my time and money.

Picked up the next day could still not understand if it worked . As a note brought one a few weeks before then they told me it was not set up to work on my pad needed bigger one . Will take it to someone who can explain it to me better.
