    This micro SD card is obviously designed for the Nintendo Switch. You can use other SD cards, but they need to be formatted and there's a risk of card failure. This is why this item is perfect. It honestly isn't much more expensive than other cards around this storage. Buying from Best Buy is the safest bet for US switch players, because the card is guaranteed to be formatted for the United States.

    SANDISK 256GB MICRO-SDXC NINTE {Used to save any Downloaded Games (only)} I purchased this (the largest extra-expended Memory available) for my Special-Son, since he was constantly running out of Memory (for his new-Nintendo-Switch), and I didn't want to have anymore (running out-of-memory) problems. So-far-so-good, (No More Insufficient Memory Problems).....

    If you own a switch you need this. I had smaller cards and they became full after 4 games. My children needed more space since the popular games are so big is memory size. This card will hold several games. You will be happy with this card.
