For the library that I currently have with my switch 2, I feel like 256 GB of storage might be overkill right now, but it's also future proofing. I'm not sure how different Micro SD card brands affect switch performance but it's doing very fine on my Nintendo Switch Lite. When I upgrade, I know that I'll have more than enough storage for what I want to play in the future.

If you have a Nintendo Switch, that you will most likely need additional memory at some point. There are a lot of memory cards out there, and it's nice that you can use just about any brand and size you want. I opted for this official, 256 GB version from SanDisk. It's debatable whether getting one that is endorsed by Nintendo really matters, but I figure that it can't hurt. I'd like to think that they've tried to match this card up to the Switch as perfectly as is possible. I got this on sale from Best Buy and it's been working perfectly for several months now.

If you want to play any games on your switch you absolutely need to get this! This card will be the most reliable compared to other micro SD cards since it is specifically formatted for the switch. I have seen many other reviews on regular SD cards where they stopped working shortly after using them and they had lost all their game data. Even though it is more expensive I feel assured that I will have my game data for a very long time.

As someone who purchased the SanDisk 256GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card for Nintendo Switch on November 26, 2021, I have to say that I'm really impressed with this product. My daughter wanted to upgrade her switch for a new game she wanted to download from the website. She didn’t have enough storage so we invested in a 256 storage disk which allowed her to download her game!

Amazing design and amazing capacity. The speed on this item its incredible, I passed my storage from my switch to the sd card and it was so fast, even though I almost maxed out everything on my switch. Highly recommend it, also, who would pass on this amazing design ?

I purchased this memory card for my Nintendo Switch. Installation was easy and it registered on my Switch right away. Now I can breath easy knowing that I have more space!

It's nice to have a large size card for eShop games and saves. I don't like swapping cards, so the bigger the better! I have no issues with storage space. SanDisk is the best brand out there, so it's extremely reliable and great performance. I also appreciate the Mario Star and vibrant color! A nice touch. Get it on sale or use some rewards points; otherwise it's a little too expensive.

I have been using this microsd on my switch now for about 3 months, All my digital purchases are directly downloaded into the memory card. Initially I was worried about the performance if the game had to be played from the memory card due to the data transfer rates. So far the performance has been pretty solid. I haven't had any lag on any of the games. I play a lot of graphic intensive games like DragonballZ, FC24, and Subnautica. I haven't experienced any lags which indicates the data transfer between the memory card and the switch is pretty smooth. If you are a person who likes having too many games on their switch like me, then the SanDisk nintendo switch memory card will be perfect for you.
