I was however disappointed to see that this microSD Express card does not come with an adaptor in the box. I have an old one I can use, but it won't reach the speeds this microSD is capable of.

You WILL need the SanDisk - PRO-READER SD Express (sku: 6633042) and, in my case, an Insignia Thunderbolt 4 cable (sku:6540038) plugged into a usb 3.2 gen 2 port. This will work in any device accepting a UHS/v30/xci/3a2 card, such as a gopro or phone. It can also be used in a non-express reader, though, your read speeds will be 153MB/s and 106MB/s write.

No one wants to lose out on play time because of bad microSD cards… so get the SanDisk EX card and go play some games!

I found that the internal storage is only good if your games are mostly physical. Since i have some larger digital games i ran out of space quickly.

Future technologies may also require this new speed standard. Get them while available. I also have the 1Tb Lexar EX card. Both are great!
