It keeps me aligned with the thought, 'can't go wrong with SanDisk'. Price is always a little steeper, but the quality and durability reflects on it. If you're looking to have a drive to store extra files and stuff, I recommend the regular SanDisk Extreme for the price is less and the transfer speeds are still great

There is not much else to add about this item. It works as advertised and I Use it for both Macintosh and Windows based computers. The 4 star rating is because it is a bit too expensive for the storage size and for the fact that it is not perpetual, meaning that writing-re-writing the data will eventually cripple this device.
