Super Fast Card! Wish I bought this sooner!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needing a faster write card was an absolute MUST after this past Monday I was shooting with my Canon DSLR of incoming Thunderstorms in RAW format. The card I used was a nice size of 128gb, but a very slow write speed at 60mb. In the sad painful frustrating process of waiting while a single 25mb-30mb photo writing these large RAW photos to my card, I actually missed not only many more cool lightning shots - but I also missed a low, bright streaking Perseid meteor shooting directly where I was shooting my photos. A photo I would have LOVED to have captured...but didn't. :( Talk about frustrating and deflating. But this was my error, I should have used an older card I have - SanDisk 32gb with a faster write speed of 95mb / per sec. Not perfect, but better..maybe I could have captured it - I'll never know. Anyway THIS card solves these painful wait problems, Its a fast fast card! What used to take me long waits between one long exposure Raw shot as it writes to the memory card, now takes 2-3 seconds. These super high speed cards used to be extremely pricy, some still are. This sale price is a good deal, I use SanDisk and never had problems.
