Do not buy this drive! I bought one and after 6 months the drive became unrecognizable by Windows. All data was lost. After doing some searching I found out these drives are defective. WD issued a firmware fix but the problem still exists. Don’t just take my word for it. Do your research buy something else. I went with a Samsung T7

Lost all my Data within 4 months of use the ssd stop mounting all of the sudden on my macbook pro and their customer support did not care about it and said just to try to format it they don’t care about yor information at all

way slow and not worth the additional cost. love sandisks other products but your better off getting a nice NVMe 4TB chip and an enclosure than buying this.

I bought this 1/17/23 to back up my PC. It is now 5/19/23 and for the second time, my PC is saying I have to reformat this SSD.

SanDisk 4tb ssd failed after two days. I copied 2 TB data to it successfully next day it was gone. Disk was I mounted. Returned to BestBuy for refund. Bought different brand.
