This device has come in handy to many times to count. The is touted as mostly a way to transfer or backup pictures from your iPhone, but I have used it to back up documents such PDFs as well. The app is really simple and as soon as you insert the drive the phone ask you if you want to go to the app. From there it is easy to get your photos to you the drive and vice-versa. If you have a lot of photos it can be tedious to select only a certain few to transfer over, but you can select all and take all of them. Just be ready for it to take some time if you have 1000's of photos stored. Only downside is that when you select your images to transfer you can only see a thumbnail in the app. So if you have similar pictures you might need to transfer all of them then choose which one you want when you get it to a computer. Using it on a computer is the same as any thumb drive. Great product, I own two now the other is 64gb.

Would’ve been five if it had ability to backup WhatsApp and other app data. Also for people who’re already using iCloud to save on their phone storage, this will not help you since all your data has already been backed up to iCloud, and you are looking to back up other app data on your phone. So in that case this product is a miss. But for the ones who don’t use iCloud, this is perfect for you.

The design of the memory stick is ideal as it returns back to lay against the iPhone. Other sticks protrude and can bend or break. It’s easy to set up and easy to download to your computer The only negative to me, and it’s minor, it keeps opening up on the phone without prompting That said I highly recommend it especially when you may be taking a lot of photos or videos.

I was looking for a way to store some photos off my phone to free space. I decided to try this, and it does what they say it does. I was able to save photos to the flash drive and erase them, BUT.... The thing I didn't like was the way the app is laid out is a little confusing. Also I didn't think of this when I decided to try this, when you save to the flash, erase the pic from your phone, then reinstall it back to the phone it is placed as a new picture. So if you like the location and other info that Apple attaches, organizes your photos based on, well you'll lose it. I tested the flash drive by finding a few random "I don't know why I kept this" photos from various points in my timeline. After transferring deleting and reinstalling them on the phone they were listed as the most recent photos and at my current location.

This is an easy way to add storage to your ipad at a good price.

Only used this product once but it worked exactly like I hoped. I bought it for my girlfriend so that she can clear her pics/videos off her phone quickly before going on a trip. She used this on the ferry ride over to Canada and made plenty of space on her phone without having to touch her laptop. Awesome product for clearing your phone quickly.

I purchased this item to free up storage on my 16GB iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. I really like this item. Once downloading the app from the appstore, you can easily and quickly transfer photos and videos from your apple device to the USB drive and vice versa. I have used this USB drive to pull photos and videos off both devices I mentioned earlier, plus my wife's iPhone 6s and iPad Air. I now carry the USB drive with me when I know I plan on taking several photos to instantly free up space on my phone if necessary. It is also easy to store any other files from a computer on the USB drive just like a regular USB drive. One flaw and the reason for four stars versus five, I do wish the drive could store other files from the mobile devices than only photos and video(i.e., large apps such as games, movies downloaded from the mobile device, etc.).

Awesome USB works great to save and at the same time transfer files from computer to iPhones and iPads and by using the android adapter you can also transfer it to any android device

I bought this on sale specifically to carry films/TV programs downloaded from Netflix or Amazon Prime to view on long airplane flights. After getting it home I did some reading (bad timing) and got concerned about whether it would work for me. I sent a question to SanDisk tech support. The rather quick response (a couple of days) essentially said there's coding in the files that won't let it work. I had hoped at the least to be able to copy from the thumbdrive to the correct place on the IPad and view from there. It seems that was not to be. Did not fill my requirements so I returned it. In theory it's a good external storage unit -- just doesn't work for my application. Three stars is for quick response to my question

I didn’t know this existed until a Best Buy employee recommended them. I plugged it into my iPhone after getting the free app, downloaded everything I wanted ant plugged it into the computer and uploaded everything successfully, no muss no fuss.

I saw this as a come-on ad on Facebook and was excited about it. It has two ends, one is a USB, the other a lightning connector. I really wanted it for two things. One, to get pictures off of my Iphone/Ipad to free up some of my Icloud backups... The other is I sing karaoke and buy a lot of my own songs, this way I could buy them on my phone, download it onto the Sandisk and the karaoke host could play it. For the most part it works pretty easily, It took me several times to get the download I wanted, but after that, it has plug and play and will add new items when I plug it into my Ipad/Iphone, And it the cost is great, think I paid $24 for 32gigs, I'll never fill that up, and if I remember the 64 wasn't too much more.

I bought this USB in Thanksgiving sale and i am happy to hve it now. I have 32 GB iPhone and this USB gives me a filling that I have 64 GB phone now. Its very compact, fast & easy to use.

These flash drives are great for freeing up memory on your devices, and especially good for sharing files between Apple devices & PCs. Easy to use, inexpensive.

Works like a charm just plug and play on my iPhone 8+ down loaded all of my pic and videos organized them even my music then plugged it it to my computer and was able to transfer everything straight to a folder no hazel of trying to find them it was plug and play now I wish I got the bigger size but was not shure if it would work like it said it does so I’ll be going and getting the high gibibit to have as back up I do a lot of 4K videos and I don’t want to pay for I cloud storage so I have a 3tb hard drive I keep all my stuff on and with this I can transfer all my files with a touch of a button
