This flash drive installs quickly with the iPhone and comes in handy at times. Would recommend to iPhone and iPad users.

This is simply a flash drive, with dual ports. It is a standing USB flash drive that also has the ability to plug into apple products (Iphone, Ipad,...). There is an app that is simple to use. I got it to make it easy to offload photos from my phone. It works great for that purpose. Literally plug and play.

It fits my needs. Simple to use and fast. Holds all the photos from my phone and iPad and still has pleanty of room.

Easy set up and works like a charm with iPhone & iPad. Use it to store GoPro 4K videos.

Tried the wireless version of this, but it was slow. Returned it for this one and it works fine. Download the IExpand app and plug it in and you are are ready to go. I transfer photos to free up space on my 64GB devices. It also fits on both devices with Otterbox Defender cases installed and can stay attached until you need the lightning port and take up little space. Highly recommended.

I was able to copy & import my iphone pictures & videos to my laptop. Only had the drive crash a few times, but think it was from selecting too many items at a time. Took a few tries to figure it out and a few nights to copy it all, but it was also 3 years worth of pictures, etc. I only got the 64GB and did the copying in batches to save in specific folders. I noticed the metal piece of the usb area would get pretty hot. Overall, it did the job and am happy to have my iphone cleared up.

If you have an iphone or ipad you know there is no way to add memory to these devices. Apple, by design, wants you to buy another device. Well this device foils their little scheme and lets you add external memory. Using this device you can plug one end into a PC USB port and use as a regular thumb drive on your PC. Then you can remove from the PC and connect the other end into the Apple device providing a thumb drive like capability for the Apple device. This allows you to transfer data between different devices. While in either connection, the device can also be used as external storage to play music, view photo files. etc. It is a little cumbersome on the Apple devices as it plugs into the power port and sits behind the iphone or ipad. Great job by Sandisk.

Needed a flash drive that was compatible with my iPhone to store my extra videos and photos. SanDisk iXpand was the best choice. Does exactly what I needed and very easy to use.

I use this with my iPad. It expanded my movie storage for travel significantly. It does not noticeably drain the battery (though I'm sure it uses more battery than without). You must use the app to play videos and mkv videos do not work, but any mp4, including a bluray remux worked just fine. Audio tracks are a little picky.

Great way to free up space on the I phone. My husband & I both take a lot of pictures & he needed to free up space. I was so impressed I purchased one for me too!

This drive is a bit pricey, but the lightening port adds a clever trick. You can load this up with a whole extra iPhone's worth of photos, music, and video. The available iXpand app is pretty spartan but functional and also updates the drive's firmware. It sold me on photo sharing, being able to quickly download many pictures from iPhone and transfer to a friend's computer much faster than using internet on the go. Right now the device is limited by Apple's narrow restrictions on file types allowed to natively use external storage. There is one other app in the App Store now that teases the possibilities this offers for file storage in the future.

You will have to install app, but a really easy process. You have to go through the app to store photos. So it will take a little time, if you have many photos to backup. Great portability. It fit iPhone 6plus with otterbox. May not fit other cases with smaller charging port openings.

I had problems getting pictures to download from my iPhone to the computer. This device plugged into the phone, downloaded its own app, and was ready for use immediately. No technical knowledge or skills needed. Clicked download, and in a very short time all the pictures were on the drive. Transferring photos to computer was simple. Freed up 12 GB space on phone. After insuring everything had downloaded and transferred, I then had it delete them from the phone. No problems at all. Very good for its purpose.

One of the best ever external drive with a small size and a big space. It copies so fast and its easy to use it. I recommend it!
