First; this device does NOT work as-is for copying/backup of any files other than photos, videos, and contacts. The product description says it does, and a question answered by a SanDisk team member says it can, but it can NO LONGER do this. It was able to through the iXpand Drive app, which has now been discontinued and replaced by the SanDisk Memory Zone app, which ONLY allows access to photo gallery and contacts. I didn't need to back those up; I needed to backup other files (like PDFs and files I created in the Procreate app). Luckily, my local Geek Squad agent was immensely helpful and discovered that it IS still possible with the purchase of a Lightning-to-USB adapter (see photo). Once I connected it to my iPad with the adapter, my "Files" app recognized it as a connected drive and allowed me to transfer files back and forth (and to my PC) without any further issues. If you only want this to backup your gallery and contacts, then you're good to go, but if you want to backup/copy any other type of files, you WILL need an adapter.

Great for storing videos and photos stored on device. I wish it could also store pdf docs.

Just what I've been looking for to backup the photos on my iPhone. Works welland it's easy to install.

So far so good! It has worked for transferring all my videos and it was easy to upload! Will buy another one in the future. It was easy to use with both my eye pad and Laptop for that I am forever grateful. I have already recommended this to my 75 year old dad and boyfriend.

Easy enough to use, plugs into iPhone and can hold photos and videos. FLippable to plug into USB ports.

It is only for pictures. I asked if it backed up other things and I was told it would not. What a disappointment to me but it did a great job on photos. Is great for photos!!!

The Sandisk overall is a useful product. Works well. I just feel their pricing needs to come down. I was in manufacturing at one time and it’s Pennie’s on the dollar to produce. Price points can be lower

For the number of pictures I take for reports, I usually airdrop a few at a time. This product saves me a lot of time.

Downloaded all of my phone’s pictures onto the flash drive and then onto my computer to save so I could free up space on my phone. Perfect item to buy and have on hand

The San Disk I purchased from BestBuy is great. It is easy to use and I can store so much data. The sales person was friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable.

I really love Sandisk iXpand Flash Drives. This is the 3rd that I bought due to its quality and price. It works perfectly on my iPhone to backup my photos and videos. Amazing performance, no need to use difficult apps, just the Sandisk App and your backup is done. Easy to use gadget!

Got this for my apple devices. I wish SanDisk would mark the price the same as the USB-C version, cause these cost quite a bit more.
