    Performs better than expected

I've been using this card in my Samsung Galaxy S7 for about 2 months(give or take a week or two). I store all my photos, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, music, documents, as well as apps I don't use daily on the card. So far it has worked flawlessly(knock on wood) and the read/write speed of the card is faster than expected. Only in a few specific functions does it feel noticabley slower than the device storage, none that I use regularly. I even tested it in my Canon DSLR (with SD adapter) and it performed surprisingly well. Overall, I have been highly satisfied with this card! Usually I avoid SanDisk due to past issues. However, with the $60 price cut at the time of purchase I took a chance. That said, I would recommend this card to anyone that is looking for a reliable, fast, and inexpensive Micro SD option to expand their phone storage. Photo: I use my phones "Pro Mode" @ Max Resolution 12MP (4032x3024) to take pictures, set to save directly to the SD Card. So far the card manages to keep pace with shooting to device storage. It has yet to show any signs of lag vs device storage even when snapping 10+ pics in quick succession (in single shot mode, burst mode won't allow direct SD card storage.) HDR, panorama, slow motion all shoot direct to SD with ease as well. Most importantly I have not had any quality issues. Video: I shoot video in FHD (1920x1080 @60fps) since that's the best resolution for watching on the average TV. Video shot to the SD card in FHD record smoothly and without hiccups. During playback there is no noticable video nor audio degrigation vs those shot directly to device storage. To fully test the speed of the card I shot a few videos using the phones max resolution UHD(3840x2160). Video in UHD record flawlessly under 2 or 3 minutes. However as I expected with the constant write speed strain, longer than 3 minutes there is noticeable judder and lag. Apps: All apps stored on the SD card Open, Update, and Run without any issues. Audio: Files (.MP3, RSS, Audiobooks) saved to the SD card playback without any quality issues vs device files.

I came into the store hoping to solve the problem with my phone. I was unable to update any of my apps and was showing I was running out of storage. An employee help me with my purchase and my understanding was this card would help with the matter, but it did not. I feel I do not get the service I need at the store (excluding my original purchase of my phone) I do not know that much about the technology of phones and need help setting up and answering my questions. In frustration and a reference from my son I went to the Verizon store and they were very helpful and found a little more storage on my phone, but explained the card isn't much help for my phone doesn't have room for storage and won't let me move certain apps to make more room. He offered a good rate for a phone with more storage for my needs. I'm very frustrated because I bought the phone at Best Buy with an extended warranty and the SD card that did not help my problem and now feel it is not fitting my needs for more storage. I'm am unemployed at this time and can't afford much more than I'm paying now. I am not happy with the service I receive when I need help with my phone and I spent money on the extended warranty and SD card when it was not useful for my situation.

Just bought two of these for S4 and HD camcorder. Have 32 GB version for some time now and am pretty much satisfied with it so far. No "hiccups" yet. Works flawlessly with S4, except transfer rate abit slower than highest-end microSD available. This trade-off is worth it for the price. I expec the transfer rate for the 64 GB to be the same os the 32 GB-could be wrong, since I do'nt have these yet: Will update review once I get and use these for extensive testing. We shoot HD video on our S4 which looks great (surprisingly for a smartphone) and the 64 GB microSD will allow us to store much more video until we have a chance to transfer it to other storage. If you think the other brands available now are better you should read their reviews extensively. Many microSD cards have failures and these are catastrophic! This make/model should be just as good as the other brands in the long run. Hint: You should always transfer files to other memory storage devices if the files are valuable to you. Never keep them just on the microSD card! (My opinion of course.) Good luck!

This San Disc Micro SD memory card did not meet my expectations. I used this with my Ausdom Car Dash Cam. It worked fine during the first full round of loop video recordings taken. But once the memory was full and the loop recording was supposed to over write the first sets of loop recordings, I noticed that recording would frequently stop after about 22 seconds of recorded video. And there would be missing video footages because of the frequent stopping and interrupted recording. There was no problem with the video cam because when I bought a different brand (Lexar) of micro SD card 64 GB the recording was never interrupted and loop recording continued even as the SD card reached full capacity and over writing was never a problem.

Call me old-fashioned...I am. I come from the days of using 5 1/4" floppy discs in my Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 128 computers. Having 64GB available to me to transfer photos from my computer to my tablet, and even leaving them on the memory card just blows my mind. Best Buy was having a sale on this brand (SanDisk), and I've used SanDisk products in the past without any problems or interruptions. I was very pleased with the price (it was something like 1/2 the regular price), and since I have a Dynex USB card reader for my computer, moving photos and files from my computer to my tablet without plugging in my tablet into my computer, and putting the card in a safe place should I need to upload the same photos and files again. Keeps me organized with this new fancy technology!

My wife had a camera (Samsung S5) that started to not recognize the memory card inside. I unmounted it, removed it, installed it again and still wouldn't recognize it after rebooting. I wanted to see if it actually was the memory, so I took the memory from my phone and put it in hers and it worked. So we went to Best Buy and found this memory at a good price. Installed it and it recognized it right away. No problems since. Oh, turns out the old memory card was still good because I put it in an adapter and downloaded all photos and videos onto my computer. Glad those were saved! Not sure if the phone is to blame?

    Excellent Additional Storage

If you're in need of additional storage on your phone, tablet or computer, you can't go wrong with this Sandisk MicroSD. A benefit of this card if you're using it in say a new Samung Galaxy S7 is the speed it reads and writes. Why this matters is to process pictures taken, viewed and videos recorded quickly and efficiently. Reasons why cheaper SD cards are bad for this newer crop of phones is the speed at reading/writing information is much slower than your built-in/internal storage, resulting in performance problems for many applications. This also hold very true for anyone installing apps on the MicroSD. So, definitely keep the speed you want to purchase for your MicroSD at this minimum. Overall, great card.

So, I've yet to really put this card through the passes in the field, but in an initial test in my Nikon D5100 (also purchased from Best Buy), compared to both of my Scan Disk Ultra Plus 32GB cards, this Pixtor 64GB writes from the camera's buffer easily 3 times faster than the 32GB Ultra Plus cards after a continuous shooting allowing me to return to shooting significantly faster . . . big plus. One other interesting bonus, I have only been able to get nine continuous shots before the camera had to dump the data with every other card I've used in this camera, but this card, after a half second pause, will give me two more shots after the initial nine before performing the data dump. I will be buying at least one more while they are on sale.

The Sandisk Pixor 64GB red/gray micro SD card is a decent price for a decent product. It took a bit of looking to research this product - but finally figured out that "Pixor" is a BestBuy proprietary brand. Thus, I was not able to find speed test (read/write speeds) for this product - as compared to the other Sandisk products. So, after purchasing I had the opportunity to run a couple non-scientific tests. My recollection is this product was about 30MB read speed and about 22 MB write speed (but don't quote me on those number). So the speed was not bad. If you are looking for medium speed at a reasonable price - this is a good product.

bought to use in a music player with expandable space. card is fantastic and works great. the only catch is if you purchase this card for use in an older device that uses micro SD cards (like a sandisk music player or new Nintendo 3DS) , those devices like cards formatted in FAT32. Because this card is bigger than 32 gigs, stuff like windows will only allow you to format it with EXFAT and older devices won't recognize that. It is possible to format this 64 gig card with FAT32 but you have to hunt down a special program to do it.

This micro SDHC card worked without a hitch in a Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 822, enabling far greater storage of video and pictures. Many people report problems with their phone and micro SDHC cards, however I had none at all and this card's speed allowed for 1080p video capture with no stutter or other problems. While not the very fastest published spec for file transfer, this card's speed was plenty good enough and especially good for the price at Best Buy. Don't bother trying to buy this at too good to be true auction prices, those cards are counterfeit and will only cause the problems that so many people seem to have. Buy the real McCoy in sealed retail packaging to avoid disappointment.

New digital point and shoot cameras come with little to no internal memory, so when I bought my new camera I was interested in getting an SD card for it as well. I found the camera on sale at another location; however, the SD cards were exorbitantly priced -- $2 to $3 per gigabyte, even at the low end! This card was priced much more reasonably; in addition, I found it on sale for half price -- less than $1 per gigabyte. I've used the camera quite a bit (for both photos and videos), and the card has plenty of room left. From what I can tell I should not have to worry about deleting anything (unless I want to) for the foreseeable future.

I bought this storage to replace one that wouldn't format/delete the pictures and videos after uploading them to my computer. The lock on the side wasn't functional on the old one and when trying to format I would get a message saying that the storage was " write protected." I hoping that this one will not give me the same problem, however; the scan disk is about the best that I've used thus far and with the 64 GB microSDXC class 10 I have plenty of storage to record videos and still shots with my camcorder while on vacation or parties and this one is rated to be rugged and ready for almost anything imaginable

I can't really complain, it works as advertised. For what's out now, it's fast and 64GB is pretty good for the time being in a microsdhc. I've only had it for about a month, and so far it has held up, no issues what so ever. I currently use it on an Android Tablet(there was no option to signify that on here), and my laptop to swap files. I'd use it in a DSLR, but it's not quite fast enough for higher bit video writing. We'll have to wait for UHS 2 to become mainstream(it's officially out now, but not widespread and it costs way more than it's worth it, for the time being, gotta wait until it's mainstream).

I have purchased multiple SanDisks for multiple cameras. I use their Extreme Pros for all of my DSLRS (3) and I use all SanDisk's class 10's for my GoPros. they work constantly, very durable, for example I had one in my pocket for about 2 days until I got it back in my camera with no problem what so ever. No scratches and no issues with future usage. The adapter that is included works with any type of microSD and plugs directly into laptop or desktop for quick import to Adobe Ps or Lr. If you are looking for good value for your money this is the root that you should take for all of your camera needs.

This is where you want to archive your photographs and other important documents. There are no moving parts to fail, and this little disk will hold everything -- it's so big. SanDisk makes pretty good quality. At least it will serve until we have a new, safer platform. Just as CD ROMs seemed a great place to store things but erode after 5 years, these may also not be the permanent future platform. However, they are the best alternative for now. DRAWBACK: They are so tiny that I could see myself losing them, so I am putting them inside other, larger holders which I can't lose.

One of the most reliable cards on the market after the first version was flawed. Many Samsung only users experience the unmount/disappearing card errors. All of the Pixtor's work without incident. The older one can be replaced by calling SanDisk. I have bought many at a higher price. Couldn't pass on the $34.99 price point and bought two, which would be the price of one. Now all my devices are sporting 64gb cards. Thanks Best Buy for the sale!!!

This a great card. I had one that I purchased elsewhere and then purchased another. This is my third 64gb micro Sd card by Sandisk. I haven't had any problems with them. I use one in my Windows tablet, one in my canon powershot 100S camera. and another in my Android Samsung galaxy s3 cell phone. It's my understanding that they need to be formatted in exfat which is how they come. This gives you the ability to use the full 64GB. I did read that this means you can't transfer files that are larger than, I think, 2 GB. I try to keep my video files for my tablet under that mark.

I got this microSDXC card about a month ago, and it seems like was working fine in my Mac. Suddenly, I went from Mac to Windows and it wouldn't format at all. Tried multiple times, and believe it was a defective piece. Took it back to Best Buy after the 14 day period (thought I was doing something wrong trying to format it, but didn't have time within first 14 days to evaluate it). Got it replaced, and so far I am happy with the replacement, and keeping my fingers crossed that it will not fail and that first one was just a defective piece.

I'd just switched phones to get an LG that would take up to a 2 TB SD card. Knowing I'd never put anywhere near that much on my phone, I researched and found that the 64 GB one from Best Buy was just what I needed. VERY happy with my purchase, been using it a few weeks now. It went right into my phone, phone recognized it, no problems, and it's still working great. I'd buy it again, nothing but positives to say about it here. Even found it on SALE on a deal of the day! Wow!
