I love SanDisk cards and use them exclusively for my photography. That said, regarding this cards in particular: 1. Beware the price. This appears to be Best Buy's version of the SanDisk Extreme SD card (same specs, class 10, 90 mb/s, etc.), which is significantly more affordable. Best Buy price matched this for me, but it appeared to be an exception to their policy, considering my significant knowledge about the product. 2. I don't know if this is an anomaly or not, but these cards seem to be just the slightest amount thicker than my other SanDisk cards, meaning they rub just a bit when ejecting. It was enough to make me think that the spring on my memory card slot was giving out. Again, might just be an anomaly.

I bought a couple of these for a safari in Africa. Got the larger capacity because they will allow me to shoot lots of pics and Videos with my new Sony a6000 cameral. Nice feature is the lock switch too. Once the card is full, i can throw the switch to remind me that the card has pics on it so I don't accidentally reuse it and lose the shots on it. Based on my experience, SanDisk is a reliable vendor. Spend a few more buck for a higher quality, higher speed card. Over the life the the card, the difference in cost is negligible compared to the potential for problems with lesser brands.

I've used the SanDisk Extreme Plus SD cards for several years now and picked up this Pixtor card when the other was out of stock. They have the same higher speed ratings which I need for my photography when shooting 10 frames per second or video. I got the 64GB card when it went on sale since the price was too good to pass up! So far I see no difference between the Pixtor and Extreme Plus versions of these cards. I'll post another comment if I find any difference in performance.

Ive bought lexar cards before and lets just say they are not reliable to say the least. I moved over to San Disk and they work like a charm. This card works great for when you are shooting continues shots on your camera and transfers file fast to your desktop within seconds. Definitely would purchase again and San Disk offers a data recover download software for free with the purchase of this card which adds a sense of security. Not sure how reliable that software is and don't want to find out. Lets hope these cards last a long time. lol

Handles 4K 100Mbps video great, end of story

There are only two things about an SD card that we care about: it has enough space to store our stuff and it doesn't cause the camera to stop recording due to being slow. This card is fast and spacious. At 100Mbps bitrate (Panasonic G7 4K video) this card holds 96 minutes (1h36m) of video; lower bitrate cameras will hold more. I have yet to have one single instance of the recording failing due to card slowness. I use this card in several 4K-capable cameras and I can say nothing bad about them. Definitely recommend this card!

It is absolutely worth spending a little extra to get a memory card in the SanDisk Pixtor series. Two memory cards with 64GB capacity sitting side by side may look the same, but the Pixtor line will write your images and video to storage much faster than a bargain SD card. When shooting sports or 4K video, especially, you don't want to wait for your memory card to catch up to your camera. I'd rather spend a little more up-front and enjoy my photography, than get a cheaper card and just be frustrated with it.

I do videography as a profession and I figured this card would hold up to what I needed. Unfortunately, it's not really as fast as you would be lead to believe. I occasionally get dropped frames and chop when shooting 120FPS with this card in. It's enough that I swap out for a better card when I have to get the high framerate shots. Overall, it's adequate for the average shooter but if you're doing high end work, be sure to test it thoroughly with your camera to make sure it will keep up.

I purchased a (beautiful) Canon T3i and just at a critical moment: making a movie of my granddaughter's Xmas school play, I get an error message. Fortunately, I had my smartphone with me and was able to capture most of the program. Camera buffs told me that the SanDisk card was needed to give the camera enough memory to make movies. This card is super fast with enough space to capture movies in 1080p. I'm happy with it. Prices, class, and data amounts vary on these cards and they can be rather pricey, so do your homework.

When I bought my new camera, it called for a high performance card. I went to best buy and looked around at the high prices of these cards!!! Got this one nearly half the price of a similar card. I didn't recognize the name Pixtor, so I brought it home and did some research. From everything I found it is every bit as good as the expensive one. Specs are specs. I have recorded 4k video and taken thousands of pictures and I haven't had one issue at all.

I got this card on sale. On sale it was a fair price but it seems that the pixtor line may be made especially for best buy. If anyone else knows better let me know but this is the info I found on most of the professional tech sites. I checked the sandisk web page and no mention of pixtor. It seems to be the same as the sandisk card I usually buy so if its on sale thats great pick one up but don't pay more for the same item just because of the pixtor label.

This memory card is supposed to be a higher speed card and it appears to be capable in that regard. It's hard to give a better assessment of the card at this time because I haven't really used it very much yet. For the time that I have used it it has worked flawlessly and it is fast. Sandisk is one of the better companies and I has a few other cards from them that have been with me for many years. I can only hope that this one will work as well as they have.

I have used pixtor memory cards before and stay with what I know. The SD card was on sale and the price was as good as other supply stores nearby. I used this in a 24 megapixel camera for both video and photography. The 80mb speed is sufficient and there were no skips or dodgy spots when recording video. The transgfer rate is not of any concern as it is normal compared to other pricier sd cards I would recommend this SD card based on price and usefulness to photography.

For casual and event photography, I shoot my images in both raw and jpeg format. This card can handle a great amount of images so it lasts for a long day with multiple events, and uploads quickly to my laptop. As with a number of sd cards, there are a variety of possible uses for this card. For me, this works in my dslr professional camera, my lightweight sony, my underwater point-and-shoot, and the sd slot in my printer.

I use these in all my camera and include them when I have given cameras as gifts to my family. I have never had an issue - they have no problem with write speed when shooting 12 frame/sec bursts. I do not shoot video - so I can't comment on how they handle 4K. I also recommend that they are formatted in the camera before each session - I have several that have logged well over 50,000 photos

So I didn't think that this was supposed to be a microflash card, but that is what I received. I can't decide whether it matters, though, because the adapter is recognized by my camera, computer, and audio recorders which are what I purchased the card for use with. Pretty sure now in looking at the image attached to this review that it should be a regular memory card, not a micro one, but whatever. Now I guess I can use it with my phone as well as if I want.

Decent upload download speeds. I have several of these cards. With a variety of storage sizes. My wife and I use them for digital photography, shooting raw files(extremely large) my wife shoots a full frame Nikon 36 megapixel it is capable of shooting about five frames per second. No problems with buffering as we have seen with other slower cards. Most importantly we have never had one let us down!

What can I say that the only thing better than this disk in comparison would be the 128 GB Scandisk. We use this disk in our Nikon 3400 Camera and the Canon HFR700 camcorder. We have had no problems with this disk and has captured the nuances of close up pictures as well as the telephoto is not grainy partially do to the camera itself. We have never had a fail and would recommend this disk.

I bought this card along with a Nikon 5500 camera to make web videos. When shooting at 60 fps the file sizes get big quickly, and it's not uncommon to have to transfer 10gb or more of material to start editing. The card is super speedy, which makes transfer times short. I have seen transfer rates consistently falling around the 90 mb/s the packaging promised. I would definitely buy another.

This is a great memory card for those burst mode photos. With a high speed of writing, this card provides you the perfect support when you are in continuous shooting mode. Remember though it also depends on you camera buffer memory and FPS how many photos you can take in a row before the camera pauses to write those into memory card. I got this one at a promotional price. Do not buy at full price.

Grabbed 3 of these for under thirty each. Awesome capacity and performance! The 24MP camera with HD video has room to breath. Note: Make sure your camera can use this capacity. Similarly, if you enjoy using the SD slot on our television, make sure your TV can read this high of capacity. If your TV can't read it, don't forget to check manufacturer's site for firmware update as a possible solution.
