This San-Disk G Armor External SSD is great. I bought to supplement storage in my laptop. The product is fair easy to install just got to drives set up partition for new drive plug into USB-C works very high speed. I recommend this product. Also it’s very durable with metal and rubber casing.

Seems like a very good little bus powered drive, but as I can't judge its longevity I'm only giving it 4 stars. I've always had excellent experiences with SanDisk products, so I expect this drive to last a long time. I like the rubber protection casing around it as the drive is fairly small and thin, and could potentially be dropped easily. I got this drive to use as a backup clone drive for two different computers, which is why I got the 2 TB version. It was no problem at all to use with a Mac OS. I used the Mac Disk Utility to create the two partitions, and then used Carbon Copy Cloner to do the backups. It seems pretty fast, and I'm very happy with it thus far.

This drive did not show up as a disk in my PCs( I tried many so i'm sure it's the problem of the drive). I searched online and realized that I need a sofware called G-Technology Format Wizard to format it first. Windows default Disk management cannot format it. Posts online said the sofware pops up automatically when the the drive is connected, but mine did not. I found the website, but the software could not be downloaded by Chrome. I switched to Edge and it was warned as virus( it is from their official website). I ignored the warning and downloaded then installed it. It finally formatted the drive. Looks like everyone else have this software automatically installed. Hope this post can help those had the same problem.

This plug and play SSD drive is easy to use, very fast, and highly portable. I used it to move the contents of my older PC to a new desktop PC, and it was quite fast, and plug and play on both devices.

Looks well built and seems to compare well with lacie rugged drives. Not the fastest drive though, not the slowest either, just alright. It got the work done.

Needed this to open up space on laptop. I will be able to create and save a lot of content. It is annoying that it is set for apple products. Had to do some work to reformat it.

A standard 2TB drive in a bullet proof vest. This drive is built tough. A rubberized shockproof case which is also dust and waterproof. This is my 3rd external drive. A durable drive is what I wanted as it travels with me. The 1st two drives have identical backups of 200,400+ photographs and are locked in a fireproof safe. Comes with a C-to-C port cable. No special adaptor now needed. Downside is the bulk and weight of the unit. This won't be slipped into your pocket.

Excellent choice for an external drive. It was easy to back up my computer on & also to transfer my data from my old computer to my new one.

Seems to work very good but US b connection isnt too solid. Other than that pretty happy with it.
