||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale to put into an older computer I am selling; just wanted to give it a boost--and it does that quite well. Startup and shutdown times are very quick now, no getting a cup before it's ready to use anymore. It is also very light. I mean, it felt like the box it came in was empty it is so light. Cloned the OS onto it and it fired right up. I have the Anniversary Update in it now so it is on its way out the door. :)

New life in an old system

Gaming is much more enjoyable and less waiting for loading screens. Good value for the cost.

Now I'm enjoying quicker boot time, quicker app launch & even quicker refresh in desktop :Installation was straight forward with one noticeable absence is the lack of cloning software in the box. I used Macrium Reflect for cloning, which free, very very easy to use & very fast. All you have to do is connect the new SSD with the computer with a SATA cable, run the software. Its a GREAT drive, highly recommended!

Great upgrade for an old laptop...

a very good inexpensive SSD

I have yet to have a problem with any of those SSD devices and my oldest SanDisk is over a year old. When I need to make the SSD a clone of an old SATA drive, I typically use the EZ GIG tool. I have yet to have a problem with either of the devices. I have also purchased on 240GB SanDisk SSD and have also found that SSD to also work very well.
