I needed a ssd that was cheap in price to revive my old Desktop and this little ssd did the trick. My Desktop is now fun to use and quick. Worth every penny. Use this as your boot drive and then use a regular Hard Drive as your storage drive.

I used this SSD to replace the HD in an older tower that I was converting to a CloudReady Chrome O/S computer. All I had to do is install the drive in the old HD's spot, load CloudReady from a USB drive, and I had a very inexpensive and high performing Chrome computer, with 120 GB of local storage!

Replaced dying HD in an IBM T60 with no problems. My first Sandisk SSD as I have used Crucial SSDs. Had to align partition and tweak XP to keep the wear from excessive writes to a minimum (have to do that with ANY SSD running Win XP).

Any modern OS makes heavy use of disk, even if you have enough memory to avoid paging. Using an SSD makes everything faster; most notably startup. This is a great one from a great manufacturer. It revitalized an older piece of hardware for a fraction of the cost of replacing the computer.

$47 for a 120Gb ssd was a great price, its not the speed or durability of higher priced units, but it should last as long as I need it to. Definitely faster than the old spinning drive, boot time went from @45 seconds to 10-15 seconds.

I was looking to replace my laptops hard drive and after changing it out for this ssd drive the performance was significantly better. The only reason this drive does not get 5 stars is it is not the top of the line and the price was good not amazing. Changing from a standard hd to a ssd will drastically improve the speed. Highly recommended.

I have almost a dozen of these, most as extra drives in my Hyper-V server, one for each virtual server. None have failed like other brands. Excellent value and reliability

I had to replace a hard drive an HP laptop. I decided to purchase this SSD drive as a replacement rather than a regular SATA drive. This was a great investment and the laptop is much, much quicker. I love it!

I installed this in my 6 year old desktop system and installed Windows 8.1 on it then upgraded to Windows 10. Boot time is incredibly fast now. 20 seconds from power on to the log in screen. I'm going to buy a couple more to replace the other hard drives in the system.

These drives are fast! The Sandisk brand has finally matched speed with the fastest Samsung drives, but for much less money! A worthwhile upgrade to any older computer, desktop or laptop. Add one of these before you spend a bunch of money on a new computer.

I replaced my laptop HDD Samsung 9 series with this SSD, and I was amazed by the speed. It is like buying a new laptop. Applications open fast, and everything works great. I would recommend this product to any one who wants to upgrade their laptop or PC.

I replace my old HDD with this SDD device. It works like a charm, quiet, great performance. Ubuntu boots up in 5 seconds. Thumbs up for this product.

My old laptop (Vista) runs wonderfully with this SSD Drive! Very simple to clone my old, failing WD to this drive. Get this drive, you won't be disappointed as a replacement to speed up your laptap.

So far so good. Works better than expected. I picked it up on sale and considering picking up another to run in raid 0. I've installed OS and 2 games and it's pretty full. Happy with purchase.

Right after I copied and installed the SSD in my Laptop the response difference was like night and day. Works really good, .pdf files took several seconds to completely load from the old drive, even after reinstalling Windows, now they load in no time and can start glancing pages right after it's open.

I bought this because it was cheap. I have previously avoided the cheaper end of the ssd price spectrum because I'm cautious with my data. This was a low risk low budget project so I decided to give SanDisk a shot. Installation was easy. I used the spacer that came with the drive to make the SSD fit snug in its laptop bay. There is no 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 converter so if you are installing in a 3 1/2 inch bay you will want duct tape or an adapter. Loading the OS was just like loading an OS except faster. Seriously... this is like night and day faster compared to conventional hard drive. In day to day use its as fast as my Intel or Crucial ssd's. Time will tell about reliability but its been running for about a month now. Remember that backups are your friend whatever you buy. Overall so far 10/10. Would do it again.

Just a simple plain ssd and does the job and is just enough to start out with. Felt cheaply made but for what its worth i wish i shouldve bought 2 for the price i got it for.

Replacing my hdd with this ssd has improved my boot time greatly. My laptop is an older unit, a Compaq Presario CQ62 which would take close to 2 minutes to boot to Windows but now my boot time is 17 seconds, a great improvement.

If you are looking for a fast SSD look for something else. If you are looking for an SSD that will give you significant speeds over a hard drive then definitely purchase.

Great SSD, it's very fast, no issues incountered. I recommend getting a SSD with a higher storage, but if your only putting an operating system on it, than this is just fine.
