added this to an existing PC as an additional drive for editing and rendering video files. Also changed my configuration for Windows to use it for page and temp files. Made a substantial improvement video processing and overall system performance. One thing I was disappointed in is I can only get 3 of the 6GB rating for eSata2 devices, guess I have a 3GB sata infrastructure in my system. Another Daily Deal that was delivered within two days.

I installed this on my sons 5 year old Macbook Pro. Very easy to install. Very nice speed boost. It use to take over a minute to boot up, now it takes just second. Apps launch noticeably quicker too. This was my first SSD. I'll be getting another one for my old Dell.

Bought this drive about 1 month ago and have had no issues with. Replaced a 5400 rpm disk drive in my old Hp dv6-2150us Intel i3 laptop. Noticed a performance increase as expected. For the price you can't go wrong. I plan on buying more of these for my desktops.

This bought this SSD to upgrade my windows 10 laptop. It would freeze up with the typical spinning hard drive. Upgraded to this drive with no issues and now works as good as a top of the line named SSD.

Easy upgrade for my boyfriend's laptop. He didn't even realize I did anything, that is until he rebooted and it took seconds compared to minutes with his old HDD. Installed in an Asus laptop (requires removing the keyboard to get access!! but worth the effort)

Basically, it's a good SSD. SanDisk makes flash memory in all its forms so they have a pretty good idea of what they're doing. I've never bought a product from them that I had issues with. Reasonable price for an SSD and always a great experience with SanDisk.

These drives are fast! The Sandisk brand has finally matched speed with the fastest Samsung drives, but for much less money! A worthwhile upgrade to any older computer, desktop or laptop. Add one of these before you spend a bunch of money on a new computer.

Excellent consumer level SSD and the price is great. Installation is simple and can be done by someone with minimal IT skills. Drive does not come with any tools to migrate from old drive to new drive. Recommend downloading tools from the manufacturer's website to unlock drive health checks and other useful addons. For reference I'm a systems administrator with just over 18 years experience in Information Technology.

This SDD was well packaged, easy to install in my MacBook Pro, and greatly improved the speed of my computer as far as disc functions. Since the operating system for my computer is also installed on this SDD, it seems that the OS (El Capitan) runs more smoothly than it did with my original hard disc. It is also nice to be able to empty the trash so quickly when I need files deleted. However, if you install one of these as your main drive, I highly recommend that you back up your data regularly. Because when data erases from an SDD, it is REALLY gone. No recovery!

I replaced my Acer laptop hard drive with this SanDisk solid state drive. What a difference in the boot up! It's so fast and works great. My old drive is now a second drive for storage. I've always had a good experience with all of SanDisk's products.

The SSD immediately increases boot time, shut down time, response time, and transfer speed. I cloned my os from the HDD of my laptop (HP G6) to the ssd. The change is amazing, no need to upgrade RAM or any other component. Flash Memory is where its at!

Two of my older laptop computers recently had hard drive failures and I replaced both of them with this drive. Both of the computers now boot to much faster than before. The new hard drives are going to greatly extend the life of a couple of old laptops.

This drive replaced a mechanical drive in my laptop. It saved my laptop from the dumpster. Performance improved and the it seemed like it was young again. I've since bought 2 additional drives and did the same thing with a couple of other dying PCs.

Exactly what I was hoping for, when I needed to replace a dead traditional (platter) laptop hard drive. I had no reason to not choose an SSD model (because I didn't need tons of storage space, and I have been happy with this drive's performance.

This is an incredible drive for the cost. It's some of the best Cost vs Performance bang for your buck upgrade. This is a better drive than many others.

If I could get people to switch their old and slow 5400rpm drives in their laptops for SSD, there would be a happier world and happy ppl. SSDs are so affordable now. It really makes you feel how good pcs are that have decent hardware. I upgraded my laptop hdd to an ssd. It is an older ivybdrige I5, 8Gb 1866 ram and as soon as I added the SSD the speed just had no comparison. It boots up in a couple of seconds and it is ready to go. I grabbed the old HDD and put it in a case to use it externally. For my boot device, I will never go back to HDDs.

The drives were easy to install and quick to configure. I purchased two of the sandisk 240GB drives for my nephew, who has an every increasing game library on his computer. The speed increase over his prior mechanical hard was very apparent. Games loaded in half the time.(ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes versus his previous 3-8 minutes) The difference was more noticeable on higher graphic intensive games which needed to load in large texture and graphic files. There was also an increase response rate while playing Massive Muti-Player Online (MMO) games. it appeared that there was less lag. I was not able to verify whether it was the drives faster seek time or outside effects (such as improved server or configuration on the providers side), however the improvement was consistent across the three independent MMO's that he plays.

I've bought a few of these in the past. I usually order them online but needed this one fast and the price at BestBuy was more than reasonable at the time. Haven't had one fail on me yet.

These solid state drives are an awesome and economical way to boost the performance of your computer. You simply need a way to connect the solid state drive to your computer (I use the Thermaltake dual drive holder available at Best Buy) and then can download free hard drive duplication software from the internet (Macrium Reflect is easy to use). Your performance improvement will be very noticeable.

I upgraded my old 15" 2.4ghz dual core MacBook Pro (2008) with this HD increased both speed and battery life. It brought a lot of life back to this 8year old laptop and now my sister uses it for college. Great warranty and cost from Sandisk
