Replaced standard hard drive with this ssd. Easy to work with. Used external hard drive adapter and copied hd to ssd. Computer boots much faster now.

Bought this on sale. Excellent SSD. Super fast and very easy to install. Going to use this for PC gaming.

This was a replacement for a failed non-SSD drive. Installation was easy. My computer starts up very fast. And has been working flawlessly since then.

I haven't used SanDisk since the 90s, but the product works. I had problems with a Crucial SSD and bought this in a hurry. Nice price and was good to see twice the size as the Crucial. Turns out it may have been Windows instead of the drive, but that's another story.

This is not the best performer, but I needed an SSD in a pinch. I bought an ADATA drive and it kept failing. The ADATA drive had much faster read and write speeds, but it would just shut down with a BSOD. So I decided to get this drive because the price was right. It's been a great and reliable drive. The read and write speeds are slower and I noticed a little slow down but not much. This made my laptop a lot faster in terms of boot up and program launch compared to the old mechanical HDD. This drive will seem lightning fast compared to any mechanical HDD for a laptop.

Performance is great for an entry-level SSD. There are better performing SSDs, but I bought this because of the low cost and high reliability.

Used it to replace m Mac internal drive- which died right out of warranty... Now, with the new operating system like a new system- only better.

I was in the market for a budget priced SSD for a new PC build. I needed a small SSD for the OS, and am using a traditional HDD for storage. This product fit that need and gave me great speed and reliability I was looking for. I compared many different models and brands in the same price range and the SanDisk was the best value for money.

It works great. My regular hdd died a day before this arrived... I installed this, and the performance of my laptop was just so much better.

I purchased this drive after waiting for the prices on SSDs to level off. This was a replacement drive for a desktop PC that is about 7 years old, running Windows 10 with 8GB of memory, a Core i5 2.8 GHz processor, and a dedicated video card. The system was sluggish at startup and shutdown, and slow at certain other tasks. The fresh reload of Windows 10 did not speed up the computer at all. With the installation of the SSD, the system sped up significantly. Coupling a fresh reload of Windows 10 (instead of cloning the old drive) made even more improvement. Startup and shutdown now take seconds instead of minutes. Downloads from the internet are faster, and overall system performance is way up. This is not one of the fancy Samsung SSDs that cost way more, but the performance increase is great value. Although many people will suggest cloning your old drive, a fresh install of Windows will give you a double dose of performance improvement. I liked the performance boost so much, I also bought the smaller 120GB drive for an older laptop that was also running quite sluggish. The performance improvement was just as significant. Installation took about 20 minutes, and reinstalling Windows 10 took less than an hour.

Have a HP laptop with SATA connection. Just needed an extension SATA adapter to install. Very easy Much faster than the old hard drive.

Adding this drive to a laptop which I had been thinking of replacing improved the performance enough that I'm able to postpone purchase

Purchased this hard drive to replace my old hard drive in my laptop. This hard drive has performed perfectly. OS boot up extremely fast.
