great affordable SSD, may not work in all situations, but great for replacing in day to day use laptops. For all day big work stations I would suggest bumping up and spending the extra cash on a better SSD. Normal work load this has been great so far!

I installed this in a Dell optiplex that was running very slow. After replacing the SATA drive with the SSD, the desktop started performing much better. I would recommend this SSD if you're wanting to speed up desktop boot up or using applications. Desktop boots to Windows in less than 10 seconds even for a 6 year old Dell.

I purchased this SSD for testing purposes and have not been disappointed. It's super fast and runs applications much faster then legacy spinning hard drives. The cost was the main factor as it was on sale from a reputable company. Great product!

After installing this, I have noticed my computer performs 5x faster than it did before. And I have yet to encounter any problems. Total boot time recorded to be between 10~15 seconds.

Bought this for my wife's PC, so we could move her Intel 120G SSD to her laptop. It might not be the fastest drive out there but for the price, it was a solid buy and I trust the SanDisk name. I did notice that the drive came by itself with nothing else and it was plastic not like the Intel or my Kingston V300.

When it was the deal of the day, I bought two of them! This drive is amazingly quick. Boots up in about 30 seconds (Win 7) and shuts down in about 15 seconds. I don't take chances on "off" brands, so the San Disk name was important.

I bought this to upgrade a 128GB SSD. This drive is appropriately fast on boots and performs as expected. The price was compelling and for those who don't have an SSD for the boot/OS drive you should definitely make the upgrade.

This is a pretty good solid state drive. I bought it to replace the 5400 RPM hard drive on my Alienware Alpha. I got to say this thing really decreased my boot time. I would say by at least half. After putting in this drive my lead time into windows team went from 15 - 20 seconds to about 5 - 10. Very good performance bump. Also, this drive is a steal right now at like 59 bucks.

I have a desktop computer which had a drive which was failing. The basic symptom was it took a long time to startup and it would occasionally freeze for a few seconds at a time. I installed this SanDisk 240GB SSD temporarily in the CD/DVD slot and used Symantec Ghost to copy the old drive to this one. It took about an hour to copy 100GB of data. Upon reboot, Windows 7 came up as expected and it discovered the new drive then said it had to reboot. After it rebooted it came up in less than a minute. I was so shocked by the speed I rebooted it again just to make sure. Yup this old (3 years) desktop is now one fast PC.

I changed out the old standard hard drive of a mac book pro with this unit. Definitely brought new life to the laptop. Boots up much quicker with El Capitan. I also bumped up the memory from 2 to 4 gigs at the same time.

This drive works great as the boot drive on my Windows 10 PC. The OS installed easily and the system boots quickly! I would highly recommend you purchase this drive it is a great balance between performance and price!

What better way to improve your pc performance than adding a SSD. this drive works well and was easy to clone my old OS onto the new drive. Boot speeds are way quicker and everyday computing tasks are vastly improved !

I've bought this SSD to substitute my original HDD. Faster boot, faster file transfer, less weight on my notebook and absolutely noiseless. It's not the faster model on market but it fits well as HDD replacement.

There are some great deals out there on Solid State Drives. This was half the price of just a year ago. It is super fast when compared to the spinning 7200RPM drive it replaced. Boot times are drastically faster!

So I purchased this SSD for my PS3 first gen which had just a 80 gig HDD which had gotten full and could not support games like Battliefield 4 , because the game was a digital download there was just way too much lag in online game rendering. Since the installation of the new SSD I feel like I have a whole new device, boot times are so much more faster, game rendering is top class, the playstation does not feel like a aged gaming console at all. This SSD is like an investment to me as in the future if I do buy a PS4 I can always use this SSD in that as the PS4 comes with a HDD by default. I chose Sandisk as I always had a great experience with their products and they never failed on me at all, any storage device by Sandisk is made really well!!

Replaced my hard drive in my 2010 Macbook Pro. Installation was easy and quick. Partition the drive and backup from time machine and I was good to go. This drive is faster and quieter than the original too.

As an expert/professional computer guy, I would say this exceeded expectations. As fast as advertised, zero issues so far, and a great value for the money.

I replaced my old SATA hard drive with this solid state drive and the speed improvement was immediately noticeable. It was very easy to install and the speed is amazing. I highly recommend this hard drive.

Installed and was up and running in 2 minutes. Very fast Windows 10 boot-up (less than 1 minute). I would love to swap out all my hard drives with Solid State Drives, but that would be pretty costly.
