I plugged this SSD and replaced my 5400rpm HDD in my 5 years old Acer Timeline X. I did not had patience to get it from amazon and wait for another 2 days...But boom there was a massive increase in speed, Windows 10 took just 12 Seconds to boot up. Worth upgrading...

Sandisk makes a good SSD for Mac applications, but I found it was a poor choice for a Windows based machine. No software included for transferring data from previous HDD, recommended software was a separate purchase item. A separate purchase was needed for a USB to HDD enclosure or adapter. Was going to add another $50. / $60. to the original purchase. I returned this item & purchased a Samsung SSD that I have experience with & includes transfer software.

Hard drive finally broke down. I was looking for a good budget friendly SSD and this was it.

Used this to replace a dying HD in a laptop that is about 5 yrs old. I did a clean install of Windows 10 on it and boot time now on the laptop is pretty much instantaneous. I have used several of Sandisk SSD's in various PC's and MAC's and havent had any issues with them.

I purchased this to use as an external SSD and i couldn't be happier with it. it works great!

if you want to store your memories easily this is the best way to without having to worry

This SSD will really add some speed to you PC. Small form factor, lots of space. And, FAST.

The SSD was part of an open box -less 20% sale during the 2015 holiday season. Used to host the OS and minimal .exe's only. Used in a Dell 8700 i7. I am quite pleased with the purchase.

I boughtI this for $64.99. It was on sale. I wanted use this for an external SSD. I also bought the Insignia 2.5 case for it. The drive is fast and it works like a dream. You will have to format the drive if you use it as an external. Sandisk makes a great product.

Bought this on sale for an upgrade to my daughter's computer. Great value for the money. Installed Windows without a hitch and performance is great especially compared to the drive it replaced. Is it enterprise level performance? No, but for the money this is a great value! Computer should get her by for a few more years with this minimal upgrade.

I bought this HD for my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 when my old one crapped out. I was worried about the compatibility of it and worried it would cause issues but it didn't and it's running great. Love opening my Adobe Suite now haha! Currently running OS X El Capitan.

This is my first SSD drive and I have to say I am so impressed. They are so fast. My start up and shut down are so fast now its surprising. If you have any issues with your HDD now and you are thinking of going the SSD route DO IT you will not regret it.

After being on a HDD for over 2 years it was loading windows in almost a minute and after the upgrade 10 to 15 sec (win 10) and I still have the ability to load some games on and and they also load very fast I would say to get one of these for a boot drive

SSD is very fast compared to HDD. Very easy to install the OS. Highly recommended.
