Easy setup with plug and play. I plan to buy a second one for my business computer.

This drive was MUCH easier to install than a traditional hard drive, runs faster, and has WAAAY more space than my old HDD did. I think it may be overheating my PC, but that's nothing to do with the product itself. Just make sure you have the power for it.

If you're coming from a hard disk, you will be blown away by the quick load times.

best upgrade for the money. Huge difference in file access speed. Would buy again.

This drive was purchased to bring life into a laptop with an older Core i5 processor and a 5400rpm hard drive. The boot time improved from 40 seconds to less than 15 seconds! Well worth the price to get 3-4 more years out of your PC and a speed boost.

I sub-contracted out SSD shopping: this was the best price for the size I needed.

I purchased this to speed up my laptop, and I am very pleased with the results of the speed increase I've gotten during bootup. This SanDisk SSD is probably the cheapest way to increase your performance on your laptop without killing your budget!

Good enough for a load drive for games and other programs. Would not use for OS on a lager system but great for mid level system that has normal use (e-mail, web, and video).

I can't give this more stars. While SanDisk makes decent flash drives for a low price, the ssd market is a place better left to others. Out of the box, there was a piece of paper to go to their site for software that is actually worthless trial ware, that will not clone or find your drive! Ok, so I found a program. Next issue, speed. This thing was so slow you couldn't surf a web page, load a game do more than one thing, without a crash or hassle. I looked online & found the Best Buy advertised speed was 500mb/s read but they failed to mention the 148mb/s write speed! That's as slow as a regular hard drive. It was like one way cable for internet, fast down & nothing going up. Then it disappeared from my list of drives, although the machine was running?? So that was it. Not worth the "savings" & had I known the write speed was that poor I would not have bought it. I found it's a discontinued drive SanDisk made for about 2 years as a very basic entry level ssd for cheap. Your USB 2.0 stick is faster than this ssd. 3 clones later, do not buy this drive. I did return the drive with no problems & bought the Samsung 840 EVO 240GB for a few dollars more. Buy that drive. Well worth $20 more.

If you cant buy a new pc, and need a speed upgrade this will give you a noticeably faster performance and almost instant boot up time. it is a smaller drive but is perfect for someone who uses it to put to your OS on and put your data on the cloud.

Had to replace my old and 120 gigabyte drive with this one due to running out of space. Drive has been Rock Solid, fast and very stable. Would recommend this drive to anyone who wants to speed up their computer without replacing expensive parts.

Have installed these SanDisk SSDs in multiple older laptops as an upgrade to ageing machines. Every single user came back and said it is a great upgrade and extended the life of their laptops by a few more years.

Fast Drive. No Problems with installation. Used in a Macbook Pro 2009 series. Just remember to enable TRIM in the OSX using TRIMFORCE ENABLE command.

I installed this SSD in a HP 8000 Elite CMT business desktop. Even though the drive controller only supports SATA II (3.0 GBPS) transfer speeds, this drive had definitely improved the PC's responsiveness and it certainly boots up faster as well.

Works perfectly in my Mac Mini 3,1. Installed El Capitan without any issues.

I put it in an external enclosure case and use it as a fast portable drive.
