Awesome drive. Sandisk has a great price and is reliable. The NAND gate technology is both cool and smart. For someone who knows circuitry very well like my self it is both useful and interesting

For the price and capacity, it's a great deal. Bought three of them for three computers. Put a clean copy of Win10 on them, boosted start-up time dramatically. Everything runs faster. Very pleased.

I know that this is a bit small by today's standards but this hard drive worked great and really sped up my computer. This hard drive is more than large enough for Windows 10 and plenty of other programs. I would suggest this drive for most anyone who needs a hard drive. Just backup your larger files to another drive. One thing, This drive would likely just bolt into most if not all laptops but putting this in a desktop requires an adapter of some sort. I am sure that I could have found an adapter but I just ended up using some Velcro to hold it in place. It does look a bit cobbled but functionally is just fine and it isn't like others are looking inside of my desktop.

This drive is really fast. I pulled the physical drive out of my 3 year old Windows 10 laptop and replaced it with this drive and installed Ubuntu. The computer boots in a couple of seconds!

Easy to install and with standard SSD tweaks to the OS the systems are really faster than the new systems. Upgrade RAM and Drive to a SSD and you can usually out perform even the top end systems.

Needed a fast, quiet drive to hold my operating system and this drive fit the need perfectly. 240 Gig and got it on sale. No problems at all installing it and has worked perfectly since.

Upgrading my regular hard drive to this SSD drive has more than exceeded my expectations. Extremely happy with the ultra fast speed it gave my laptop. It's like getting a new computer. :)

Though their flash memory is hit or miss, SanDisk's SSDs stand on their own as direct competitors to the "everyday" class of solid state disks available. I have had this particular drive for two years now, moved from PC to PC as needs and desires changed, and even when near full capacity it never ceases to perform admirably. For casual users, this entry-level SSD blows any traditional hard disk out of the water. Boot times shrink to a fraction of what they originally were, applications load much more quickly, and every system I've used this in, even low-RAM machines, see a total transformation from sluggish boxes of frustration into something you can happily use for years to come. Indeed, a hard disk drive will be the limiting factor for most computers, and SSDs alleviate the bottleneck that comes from waiting for a hard drive to spin, seek, and load data. For enthusiasts, this SanDisk SSD has middling performance against the rest of the entry-level SSD pack, with about 450 MB/s sequential read and 410 MB/s write regardless of system, with random 4K performance just so-so. Considering the retail price, however, the SSD is well-priced to use as either a boot drive in a system that lacks an SSD, or as a storage disk for games and media as there are better-performing SSDs available...admittedly at higher prices per gigabyte. This SanDisk represents a solid value that delivers results as you would expect.

I need a SSD to upgrade a slower Hard Drive and this works perfectly. Installing it on a desktop was quick and easy. Installing the OS and Applications was much quicker than before.

Easy to install. I did have to get a program to transfer my operating system but it was an easy process. Quick cold boot of about 20 sec.

Fast and quiet. Installed Windows 10 quickly. Quick to partition and format. Basically everything you need in a hard drive without the noise and it is easier to recover if it fails

I installed this in an older Acer laptop. It only took 5 minutes to change out the old one. Now the boot time is 20 seconds. I'm not sure actual day to day performance is better but I'm very happy with the quicker boot time.

It's very fast and light. My old laptop now boots in a fraction of the time. SanDisk has been making memory products forever so I'm not worried about the reliability.

This drive is fast and reliable. When my clients need a hard drive replaced it only makes sense to use an SSD. For the price and size, this is a no brainer.

This had my i7 desktop boot in under 15 seconds and has been very reliable. Well worth updating any system with a fast sad to make your system even faster.

Easy installation. Cuts down on the heat of a standard drive quite a bit. Excellent for a windows drive to significantly speed up many processes.

This isn't going to be a long, dramatic, techy review. I'm just going to say it: Why buy something more expensive for the speed gains that you're never going to notice? Don't tell me it's quality- we've all trusted Sandisk since we got our first digital camera (or maybe your first phone with a microsd slot). Point being- I've got a ton of trust in this product, I still see major gains over mechanical drives, and the price is always right!

SSD works great. No issues at all. I love how much it sped up my laptop. It's only takes seconds to start it now. And it was very easy to install.

I bought this SSD to build a desktop computer, I recently bought a gaming computer that has a SSD...(master), and a HHD...(slave) configuration. I also put one in a HP laptop and installed win 8.1 on it. Both are performiong flawlessly. This time, I'M gone to build a computer withg the same SSD, HDD comnfiguration, but with win 7. Some of my games don't work with win 8/10.....Wish me luck..(this will be my first with this configuration)
