Installed this SSD in an older COMPAQ 950 Notebook. It has turned this old notebook into a fast Windows 10 laptop. Extremely easy to install.

Works well, Speeds up boot time, flimsy shell. Felt cheap which left me with a uneasy feeling. Once it was installed, everything worked and was recognized immediately. Still worried about the casing, if they cut corners on that, what else did they cut corners on?

a better way to add performance to an old macbook, the speed & reliability plus affordability on a top notch SSD is a satisfying upgrade

Laptop was less than a year old and hard drive went out. Replaced with new SSD Plus 240. Speed of operation increased, no problems since.

Great to speed up your computer. Fast boot time. (Wish that these were made of metal thing and not pastic). Good buy at a good price.

I have bought two of these now and in both cases they met all of my expectations. They are fast, easy to install and a great value.

This is a good SSD and when it's on sale ($70 or less) it makes for a good value. I tested the read and write speeds and they are very close to the advertised speeds. Sequential read speed was 510mbps and write was 480mbps. I have had good luck with Sandisk SSDs and recommend them especially as they usually cost less than the other major brands. It's 2015 and you should not use a spinning hard drive for your OS. Definitely recommend this one and SSDs in general. It's the best upgrade you can do to your computer.

After a hard drive failure on a laptop under two years old decided to go for a solid state drive hoping to get a few years of reliability and better performance than with a standard mechanical drive. So far the start up is seconds faster and program access is marginally better. The trade off using solid state is the smaller capacity, but unless a lot is stored on the computer its not really a big deal. Though this one is 250 gig, there are models that are up to a gig in capacity if that much is really needed!

The device is well made and of a good size to fit in a laptop. It turned out to be easy to install and since has worked flawlessly.

The Solid State Drive was easy to install and worked right away. It noticeably made my computer faster, boot up took under a minute.

I put this in a refurbished computer and loaded the operating system on it. It works great...quiet, cool and much faster startup.

Works great boots up windows 10 in 15 seconds compared to hdd drive took around 45 seconds. Plus my computer runs quiter and cooler

I upgraded an older Dell Precision laptop with one of these drives. Boots up much faster, runs great. A good deal for the price.

I bought this to finish a computer build and wasn't sure if I would be able to afford a SSD. When I saw it was on sale, and that it has great reviews, I jumped on the opportunity. This SanDisk SSD doesn't come with an installation software, but it does have a little insert with an address for their website to download a maintenance program. Anyways, this SSD allows my computer to boot into Windows significantly faster than the traditional HDD I was using before. I highly recommend this SSD.

Incredibly fast hard drive. Easily starts up 5 or 6 times faster than before and everything loads in a fraction of the time.

Easy to install and it works just as it advertised . I actually installed them in to MacBook Pros and they are both working perfectly . I would purchase them again and they were the cheapest SSD drives at Best Buy for the size .

I've bought over a dozen SSDs now, and this has been you of the fastest. I picked it up at the time because it was on sale to use as a spare, but after testing it, I am using it in a raid configuration as a primary. Definitely worth the money.

The hard drive has performed beautifully so far. There was no hassle at all with installation. Definitely recommended.
