Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For all the hoopla about SDD's being superior to the old mechanical platter HHD's, I was quite disappointed when in roughly a year, this SSD died with no indication of issues, it just decided to not work one day. I pulled it out and put it into an enclosure, and nothing. Lost everything, which was probably my fault because when I did a system restore, I naturally assumed I was restoring my SSD, but nope, my system reverted to my "still working" HHD which was a nearly full 2TB of music and pictures, and faithfully wiped, then restored it. :-(). I gave it two stars because it was faster than an HHD. That's all I can say good about it. I have HHD's that are better than 20 years old that still work fine. This marvel of technology? Barely a year of life.
