This is true for all memory cards. Occasionally you may find a "bad" card. This class 10 card works well for all my photography needs. Since I don't shoot video, I can't comment on its suitability for video. You can't beat this card for value either.

No worries about running low or exposing the camera to things that can float inside while it’s open. This is one I’ll buy again.

San Disk never disappoints

Solid product for digital cameras

Likewise, all my camera use SD cards, so I have a handful of these for use in my cameras. When I travel, I swap out the card at night and upload the contends of the cards to my cloud server, so if my camera gets stolen or my card gets damaged, I don't lose my photos. I always keep a card in the camera so I don't repeat my "no card in the camera when I want to take a picture" moment.
