My car's MP3 player USB port is in the bottom of my console leaving it subject to contamination and if a normal sized USB drive is installed, subject to breakage of the drive and/or the port. This fit version is low profile avoiding accidental torquing and breakage. The same is true for many other apps. This holds about 2700 songs. Of course your millage may vary due to quality of the mp3 files. The other side of the coin is in some applications where frequent installation and removal is necessary and the port is in tight quarters with other ports and connectors, this drive can be difficult to grasp. Playing MP3s from a flash drive doesn't require v3.1 or even 3.0 but it is backwards compatible and you'll appreciate the high speed when loading it up, editing, etc.

I purchased this usb drive to load with music and install in my vehicle. The small size and the fact that there is no flashing light when installed were the main reasons I chose this one. It fits tightly against my dash and doesn't stick out to the point where I am going to catch anything on it. Easy to load music on, and I have not had any issues with the vehicle reading the information.

A super fast and super small flash drive. So easy to transfer things to due to the speed of this. I also like the fact it’s so small that way you have a less chance of it getting knocked around and damaging the ports on the pc.

I used one of these sticks to test SuperSpeed transfers on my laptop and it worked great (other sticks I have only do High Speed or USB 2.0 transfers.) Good, reliable SanDisk quality along with a great price.

This is by far one of the smallest flash drives I ever bought. The transfer speed is commensurate with its USB 3.1 spec.

Very tiny. Works great in a laptop. Doesn't protrude out hardlt at all. Can leave it in. Goes in and out of laptop case with no problems.

Purchased to use for music storage for my car since CD player is not an option. Small size and large capacity.

The main thing I wanted was a very small profile for use in my cars USB port to store MP3s on. This thing fit the bill as it is VERY small. Only a little bit extra from what is needed to plug it in. Has a little loop at the end if you want to attach a key ring or something to it. The other plus is that I used a Best Buy coupon for it so it was very very cheap.

Lets face it. All USB flash drives are pretty much the same, as long as they have the same capacity, form factor and have the same basic specs. One USB3 256GB drive pretty much works the same as any other.But SanDisk is throwing in a nice little bonus with some of its new models. T

Works pretty well. Just hope its hinge could’ve been little wider to put it in key holder

So far great to plug into my chromebook and work as secondary storage. my chromebook main storage is only 32 gb.

Excellent for storing music to play back in my truck. Fits compactly in USB port and is not in the way.

This flash drive is easy to use, holds a lot of files and doesn't stick our very far on the side of your computer which reduces the possibility of the flash drive breaking off.

Works fine. Definitely an improvement over USB2.0 drives. No issues at all as you would expect from a name-brand manufacturer.
