Bought this to help boost the speed of an older HP I-7 computer. This helps as I have lots of data, pictures, and music on this older computer. Is now acting like it use to.

This thing holds so much! I bought a used laptop that doesn't even have enough memory on it to update. Using this Flash Drive as a drive, I'm able to use the laptop with no problems.

Fast and ample data storage in a convenient USB format. You will not get the full advertised 256 GB of memory, and you will have to format the disk the very first time you plug it into a PC or laptop. Otherwise you'll plug in and it won't be read by the PC, especially true for the Windows 10 systems. I had to google the issue to find a workaround in Win10 which finally formats the drive in order to read most of the storage space.

Easy to use. Works on all my computers. It helped me transfer all documents, pictures, and important information from my desktop to my new laptop so I can retire the old computer tower.

I purchased the SanDisk Ultra SDCZ48-256GB on sale. It was a good price for the amount of storage. The write speed of the CZ48 series is a little slow with large files. There are other flash drives with significantly faster write speeds but they are cost 2-4 times as much. I 'm not concerned about the write speed because I'll use it to backup pictures at the end of the day.

A good choice, large volume, small USB, convenient to carry. Price should be lower
