Great device for storage and gb is ok the picture quality is ok.

I initially purchased the SanDisk thumb drive to record HDR videos on my iPhone 16 pro. it worked great initially but over some time the USB-C stick wore out and I didn't even use it for long. I would say I got about 20 uses out of it. the only way I can access my stored files at this point is by using a dongle that allows me to hook up the USB-A side. it's a little bit disappointing because I didn't have it for long and I thought $256 gigs would be all I needed. the product was a little bit sturdier I'd be happy but I can't say I am currently the fact that it doesn't work.

Easy to use - great product, real go to and big size 256GB

Died in under 18 months of light use. Only wrote files onto it once or twice. SanDisk has had a horrible reputation the past few years for good reason. I have had way better luck with PNY thumb drives the past 5 years or so.

It's durable enough for on-the-go life, though it does get warm during big transfers (nothing alarming, just normal for high-speed flash drives). There was never an easy way to transfer my photos and videos from my Samsung (Android) phone to my Macbook... UNTIL NOW! This Sandisk is AMAZING! You don't have to download any drivers or software, you literally pop it into your phone, transfer photos/vids and then insert it into my Macbook and transfer everything to my computer. It's the best thing since sliced bread, I can't believe they didn't come up with this sooner. I'm buying one for my Mom and Dad for Christmas (who are always complaining they don't know how to back up their phone pics... now they do!) You might have to purchase an adapter for your computer to be able to insert the smaller USB Type-C into your traditional computer USB-Type-A (my Macbook is USB Type-A only, so it worked out). I got the 256 GB, it's got a ton of storage for years of photo storage. It's one of the best products I've purchased in a while. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also, this is GREAT for content creators who are always taking video on your phone (which takes up a lot of space). It's so easy to free up storage on my phone now! Especially using CapCut constantly making vids... this little Sandisk is a dream come true.

Small but surprisingly powerful. It has both USB-A and USB-C, so it pretty much works with anything. I mostly use it for backups and light storage. It does get a bit warm, but honestly, I don’t think most people are using it as a main or always-plugged-in drive anyway. If you’re looking for something to move files around — like I transferred 60GB in under 10 minutes — this thing is awesome.

This works exactly how you would expect something I like this too work. And the speeds are incredibly fast. It transfers at about a gigabyte per second until it gets hot. Then it'll thermal throttle but it'll still be extremely fast until it cools back down. When it was hot, I feel like it would just be like half a gigabyte per second at that point. I use this to store things i want backed up like movies and videos i create. It's Keychain friendly and that makes it to where i could see people keeping it with their keys and constantly backing up stuff they dont necessarily need on their phone. Anyways, It's awesome that this exists and has the ability to go to your computer via USBA as well.

I use this often to capture video and audio files that I want to share with others. Often the files are huge and I would max out the Google Drive storage capacity quickly. As an alternative, I just bring this drive with me and download any files directly to other android cellphones or Windows based laptops. Having both the type A/C connections offers great flexibility, while the fast transfer speed and 256GB storage capacity make this a great drive for anyone dealing with a multitude of different file types and sizes. Keep in mind that this also gives you the option to avoid loading up your 128GB or 256GB laptop with extraneous/temporary files that you plan to delete or modify before you archive them. This drive is not suitable for use with IPhones due to the difference in plug-in design. I don't know about any compatability issues that may exist with MacIntosh products.

I needed a storage to record from my phone and transfer my files to my PC fast and easy. This little device is a HUGE help. I can record large file videos on my phone and all i do is plug this little USB C device in my phone. Easly transfer my videos and pictures to the drive and then remove it and connect it to my PC and BOOM easy transfer to my PC. No more waiting hours to transfer them wirelessly or worse cant send them to my email because "FILE TOO BIG" I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! Im not too advanced in technology but this is really easy to use.

Surprised how small the thing was when I received it. So easy to carry around, but I’ve also almost lost it because of the size. I got it because of large PowerPoint and Word files I have to save for school, and it does not struggle to save them.

This flash drive works great! I can use it with my phone on the USB-C end, and even plug it into older laptops, desktops, and TVs on the regular USB side. Super small and compact, it can easily attach to your key ring if you need, but it might not hold up well in outdoor conditions given the nature of the product. Good bang for the buck and it it has great read/write speeds to backup your old stuff and transfer to the new.

I've been the family photographer for over 40 years at family gatherings. I desided to pull together a flash drive collection as a present. This SanDisk - Ultra 256GB is small so they (snowbirds) can take it with them. It worked super fast. Usually when I click eject, other flash drives notify me, still working. But not with this bad boy. Since I wasn't sure if they need a type A or C, this covers the unknown. I was surprised at how much memory was left after I finished loading folders by year. This allows the family to add additional pics of their own. I can't speak to it's longevity since this is a recent purchase.
