Another great Value, great sized thumb drive with the speed for software, data transfers and back up. Compact size, maybe a tether is in order not to loose track of it in a pocket of notebook case.

This is one of the worst SanDisk drive I have ever used. The drive is just so fragile and the USB stick broke and cracked after I dropped my keys with it couple times. I threw it away.

I was going to use this as a recovery drive for my laptop and thank goodness that I didn't and the errors showed up early. I noticed that on almost every single occasion when plugged straight to the USB drive of either my latpop, desktop, and on a MacBook Pro 2015, the drive gets extremely hot and read errors pop up right after formatting or initializing the drive. The only way to resolve this is if you have a USB-C port, you need to connect this to a USB-C to USB-A adapter / dongle and it will read/write without issues. However, having said that, there is no way I am going to trust this drive with my data. I don't have any problems with the Sandisk Cruzer and other USB flash drives.
