Great - until it dies on you on Christmas

Loved the capacity, and stored music, video - anything I wanted to. Saved all my photos and videos that I shot onto it. Went to shoot pictures and video Christmas morning but the card was not recognized in the phone. Tried to re-mount but the phone didn't see the card at all. Just how you want the day to start - everyone waiting on you and your faulty tech. Card can't be seen on PC either - it's totally dead. Now it's onto the painfully slow RMA process. And data recovery is not covered under warranty. I would look for a more reliable card and give up the extra capacity.

Never lasts more than 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought Sandisk 4 times in a row, this same memory 2 times, and I regret it every time. They all have the same problem, after 2 or 3 years of use they will become "defective" and will no longer be readable by cellphones or tablets, you can connect it to a PC and recover most of the data (that is why I am giving 2 stars), but the memory will no longer be usable. I have a Samsung that has been in a tablet for 5 years without a glitch, I will for sure never buy this brand again.
